JoAnne "Josie" Lindstrom, of Diamond Bluff, WI, passed away peacefully August 11, 2026, after a courageous journey with gastric cancer. She was born on December 25, 1945, to Harry and Joyce Most of Prescott, WI. Josie lived a life defined by faith, kindness, compassion, and unconditional love.

For almost 60 years, she shared a beautiful marriage with her beloved husband Mike, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Her greatest joy was her family. She devoted herself to being a loving wife, mother, Grandma, and Gigi.

Josie dedicated more than 30 years as a laboratory receptionist at the Red Wing Clinic, where her warm smile and caring heart brought comfort to countless patients and coworkers. She had a remarkable gift for making everyone she met feel welcomed, valued, and loved.

Even throughout her cancer journey, Josie remained a source of strength and inspiration, facing each day with unwavering faith, grace, and a positive spirit that touched countless lives.

She is survived by her loving husband of almost 60 years; brothers Gary Most and Greg Most; daughters Michelle (Kyle) Mitchell, Carrie (Theron Flom) Lindstrom, and Sara (Richard) Eads; bonus daughter, Mette (Frank) Mathiesen; grandchildren Britney (Derrick) Mitchell-Swanson, Austin (Alexa Somerville) Hines, Kasey (Kurt Henning) Mitchell-Larson, Madeline (Hunter Olson) Eads, and Ethan Eads; bonus granddaughter, Alberte Mathiesen; and 14 cherished great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Joyce (Andrews) Most; in-laws, John and Bonnie (Nelson) Lindstrom; and niece, Anne (Lindstrom) Siebenaler.

Josie will be remembered for her unwavering faith, infectious smile, generous heart, and the unconditional love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched and the family she loved beyond measure. We love her more and will miss her always!

Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Zion Covenant Church, Ellsworth. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, August 28, 2026, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Ellsworth Chapel and for one hour prior to the service at the church. A livestream of the service will be available, and a link will be posted prior to the service.
