John Frederick Rosenbaum, age 78, died on Sunday, Nov. 26, 2023 in River Falls. He was born the son of William and Elizabeth on March 20, 1945 in Saint Louis, Mo. John grew up in Missouri. After working many years in a sheltered workshop, he helped on the family farm. He was a cub scout and boy scout. John loved camping in his earlier years and patrolling the pathways at the family home in River Falls over the past few years. He was a gentle soul and was fascinated by dinosaurs.
John is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Christine; and brother, Bill. He is survived by his closest relatives, sister and brother-in-law, Katharine and Bill McGee; sister-in-law, Patty; niece, Casey (Olga Trujillo) McGee; and nephew, Brian (Rick Nixon) McGee; and many other relatives. Cremation services provided by Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
