John Mercord, of Prescott, WI, gained his angel wings and passed away at the age of 77 on January 2nd, 2022, due to complications from COVID-19. In his true, strong-willed (stubborn) fashion, he fought until the very end. His last moments were peaceful and he was surrounded by his wife and daughter.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 2:00pm Thursday, June 2, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Parish: 269 Dakota St. S, Prescott, WI 54021. A Visitation will be one hour prior to the start of Mass. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
