ELLSWORTH – Ellsworth Public Library wants to hear from you! Join the library for a discussion of the accessibility of our facilities, services, and programs. The library’s mission is to serve all members of the community, but for some, there might be barriers which prevent them from using the library. Let’s talk about making the library more accessible and determine the best use of awarded grant funds.
This community conversation will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10 in the Meeting Room at Ellsworth Public Library, located at 388 West Main Street.
Ellsworth Public Library, Friends of the Ellsworth Public Library, and Pierce County Aging and Disability Resource Center will host the event, which is offered as part of Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Communities, an initiative of the American Library Association (ALA) in collaboration with the Association for Rural & Small Libraries (ARSL).
