Judith Coat 1940-2022

Judith (Judy) D Coaty, age 82, born to Thresa and Leo Coaty on February 19, 1940 in her home in Plum City, Wisconsin passed away peacefully at The Oaks at Timberline Assisted Living in Vancouver WA on June 16, 2022.

She graduated from Plum City High School in 1958 and moved to live and work in St Paul with her niece Darla Jean (Borst) Fischer of Ellsworth, WI. She later married Norbert (Bert) Lee Brantner of Durand WI. They lived in Lakeville, MN where she had her only son, Tony. After a few years, Bert and Judy separated ways and later she met Dennis Kadrmas of Dickinson, ND at her work place. They married and moved to Dickinson to take over his dad’s wheat farm. They later decided to give up farming and packed up to move to Eugene OR. They too separated and Judy went on to Portland, OR and finished collage where she finished her career at Consolidated Freightways and retired to Vancouver, WA.

Judy loved work, live outdoor music, plays and theatres, dancing and taking day long road trips to cruise the ocean front coastal highways of Washington and Oregon.

She is survived by her son Anthony (Tony) J Brantner of Beldenville, WI, two sisters, Marlene (Coaty) Hie of Winona MN, Joanne (Coaty) Stacy of Tampa, Florida, many nieces and nephews, her wonderful friends, JoEllen and Dave Jarvis of Washougal, WA who were very close to Judy among so many other dear friends in the Vancouver/Portland area.
