PRESCOTT – All seniors, age 55 and older, are invited to come and join Prescott’s Senior Gathering Place for activities. _No dues are charged and the group is open to all._The Gathering Place is located at 1220 St. Croix St. in Prescott at the Malone Intermediate School, door G5. We are open 12:30-3:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays this summer.
Tuesday events in July 12:30-3:30:
•July 6: Left, Right, Center game, bring dimes.
•July 13: Farkle, Sequence, Dominoes or your choice
•July 20: Bingo, Scrabble or your choice
•July 27: Book Club meets at 1:30 p.m. The July book is “Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons” by Lorna Landvik. Upcoming book club selections are “Safe Haven” by Nicholas Sparks for August and “Eddie Wake” by local author, C.A. Peterson in September.
Wednesdays in July 12:303:30: Wednesdays are cardplaying days. Euchre, Bridge or any card game your group would like to play. There are several tables available. Cards provided.

•Art Reception for the local Little Colony Artists at Freedom Park 2-4 p.m. July 11. Information available at freedomparkwi.org
•Open Market for fresh vegetables and more at Borner Farm (1266 Walnut St., Prescott) daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m._More information can be found at bornerfarmproject. com
•“Memory Maker Kit” bags are available for check out at Prescott Public Library (800 Borner St.) This is a check-out item, not for keeping. Grandparents and seniors may be interested. Also available are 10 free bags (to keep), provided by the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Pierce County, that contain activities, resources, tips and information to help improve your memory.
