Kenneth William Hoven, age 75, of the town of Kelly, passed away Friday, Dec. 22, 2023 at his home. He was born Aug. 9, 1948 in River Falls, Wis., the son of William and Maxine (Bennett) Hoven.
Ken graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1966. He served in the U.S. Army for a couple of years before moving home and working at the family farm. Ken married Jeanette Henthorne on Aug. 16, 1974 in Beldenville, Wis. They resided in Spring Valley until moving to Mason in 1984.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024 at Frost Funeral Home of Ashland with Pastor John Dudley officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to the time of service at the funeral home. A reception will follow the service at the Roberts Funeral Home in Ashland.
Military honors and graveside services will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in Spooner.
