PIERCE COUNTY – Koozie Group is pleased to announce that it raised $5,513.95 for United Way of Goodhue, Wabasha & Pierce Counties in 2023 as a result of its writing instrument giveback program.

The program, which began in 2022, involves donating 5 percent of Koozie Group®’s writing instrument sales referencing a specific code. In 2023, the company raised $16,541.85 for three regional United Way chapters near its facilities in Florida and Minnesota, with each chapter receiving $5,513.95 apiece. These chapters included United Way Suncoast in Tampa, Fla.; United Way of Goodhue, Wabasha & Pierce Counties in Red Wing, Minn.; and United Way of the Brown County Area in New Ulm, Minn.

Last year, Koozie Group also provided 1,900 backpacks full of school supplies to these chapters to be distributed to area students for their back-to-school needs. The backpacks and their contents were valued at about $20,000.
