The Kinne-Engelhart American Legion Post 204 of Ellsworth marked its 100th anniversary Saturday with a ceremony and drive-thru cookout Saturday afternoon at the Legion Post. At left, Past Commander Donna Swenson read the names of post members who passed away in the last year in a ceremony with the post Color Guard. It’s usually done on Memorial Day, but COVID19 forced the cancellation of Memorial Day ceremonies. Below left, State Assembly Rep. Warren Petryk was the featured speaker, and he presented Post Commander Gary Regenscheid with a commendation marking the event. Below, David Voelker had burger grilling duties.
