The Pierce County Public Library directors would like to express our utmost appreciation and confidence in the Pierce County Public Health Department. The onset of COVID-19 and its impact on our communities was unexpected, but the response of the Public Health Department has been immediate and thorough.
The Public Health Department has been a constant and reliable resource for the libraries, as they helped us implement appropriate procedures in order to keep our communities safe. They have successfully communicated and used their experience and knowledge to find reasonable solutions while considering what is best for the members of our county.
Navigating the COVID-19 health crisis would have been difficult and overwhelming without their invaluable support and guidance. Sincerely,
Pierce County Public Library Directors
