Although much of our lives have been put to a halt, your local librarian has been working hard to make sure you can still access reading material from your local library. The public libraries in Prescott, Ellsworth, River Falls and Plum City have all started to offer curbside pickup by appointment online. The delivery service between libraries has not resumed as of yet, so only materials currently housed at the respective libraries are available.
Ellsworth Public Library: Materials can be requested by phone (715-273-3209), email ([email protected]) or through the online catalog (more.lib.wi.us). Appointments are being scheduled in 15minute increments during their regular hours, with requested items left outside the door in initialed paper bags. The book drop is open for returns on Tuesdays from 10a.m. – 8p.m. and Saturdays from 9a.m. – 1p.m.
Prescott Public Library: Materials can be requested by phone (715-262-5555), email ([email protected]) or through the online catalog (more.lib.wi.us). All in-person services and dropboxes still remain closed. All due dates have been extended until at least June 3rd.
River Falls Public Library: Go to the MORE Catalog – www.more.lib.wi.us and search for items currently available at the RFPL and be sure to set the pickup location to River Falls Public Library. Once your hold is filled, a staff member will call you to schedule a pickup time.
The book return on the Union Street side of the building is now open. June 3, 2020 is the due date for all checked-out library materials.
Plum City Public Library: Items can be requested online and pickups can be scheduled by appointment. Wireless internet is available by the sidewalk parking!
