A Minneapolis man died this past weekend in a motorcycle crash near Prescott.
Pierce County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-motorcycle crash at 5:55 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4 near the Highway 35 and 1050th Street intersection in the town of Oak Grove.
Ronald Bithell, 59, was operating a 2017 Harley Davidson north on Highway 35. He lost control of the machine, crossed the center line, entered the west ditch and was thrown. Deputies performed life-saving measures, but Bithell was pronounced dead at the scene.
Prescott Police Department, Prescott Fire and Ellsworth Area Ambulance assisted PCSO at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
