PRESCOTT – As we mentioned last week the Senior Gathering Place will be closed during the school spring break March 11-15. We will be open March 6 and 7 and after spring break March 19.
Wednesday, March 6: Card games begin at 12:30 p.m., including Euchre, Bridge or game of your choice. Bring your friends. At 1 p.m., watercolor painting will begin; please bring $2 for the supply fee collected at class. Class will be in room G-9.
Thursday, March 7: Pickleball begins at 9 a.m. at Prescott Intermediate School gym (125 Elm St. N.) Speaker Dr. Rick Spicuzza, superintendent of Prescott School District, will join us at 1 p.m. to discuss the upcoming referendum and field questions.
Monday, March 11-Friday, March 15: Gathering Place is closed for school spring break.
Tuesday, March 19: Pickleball begins at 9 a.m. at Prescott Intermediate School gym (125 Elm St. N.) At
12:30 p.m. Left, Right, Center dice game begins, bring dimes. Also other games of attendees’ choice.
There will not be a movie in March due to spring break. The March selection for book club will be “ The Quarry Girls” by Jess Loury.
Senior Gathering Place is located at 1220 St. Croix St., Door 5 of the Prescott Middle School. It is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12:30-3:30 p.m. The Senior Gathering Place is open to all seniors ages 55 years and older. All are welcome!
