Mary Lee Van, age 89, of River Falls, WI, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021 at Kinnic Health and Rehab. She was born on July 16, 1931 in Shenandoah, VA, the daughter of Ted and Myrtle Comer. On July 1, 1950, she married Kenneth Van in Maryland, Kenneth was serving in the Army at the time, and after his discharge in 1952, the couple relocated to River Falls, WI. Mary Lee worked for Smead’s Manufacturing for many years, and later for UWRF Food Service. In the evenings, she loved going for a walk and visiting with friends. Mary Lee was preceded in death by her parents and siblings. She will be missed by her husband, Kenneth Van of River Falls, WI; and her daughter, Penny (Tony Reeder) Van of Hopkins, MN. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 2 pm at Greenwood Cemetery 899 E Division Street River Falls, WI. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
