RIVER FALLS – City of River Falls voters will have an opportunity to attend four Meet the Candidates sessions in March to meet those running for city council on the April 7, 2026 ballot.
Candidates Melissa “Mei Mei” Abdouch, Alison H. Page and Rose Walker are hosting the sessions from 5-6:30 p.m. Mondays March 2, 9, 16 and 23 at Mei Mei’s Cookies & Creamery (113 E. Elm St., River Falls).
“I sent invitations to all city council and municipal judge candidates to attend,” Abdouch said. “I have received acceptance from everyone except Dan Toland and Todd Bjerstedt so far. I am waiting on their response. A few of them will miss one session for a prior conflict but will make the others and some will be in attendance for all four sessions.”
The forum will be an informal opportunity for people to meet candidates, ask questions, pick up materials and return to later sessions if they want to learn more.
The following offices are up for election on the April 7 ballot:
Mayor – Incumbent Dan Toland will face challenger Alison H. Page.
Alderperson at Large – Four candidates will vie for two open seats vacated by Jeff Bjork and Scott Morrissette: Melissa “Mei Mei” Abdouch, Austin R. Mahanke, Rose Walker and Lucas Roberts.
Alderperson District 4 – Incumbent Todd Bjerstedt is running unopposed.
Municipal Court Judge – Incumbent Daniel Gorman will face challenger Clint Delader.
