SPRING VALLEY – This summer’s Spring Valley Stagehands production is “The Little Prince,” written by Rick Cummins and John Scoullar, and based on the book of the same name by Antoine De Saint-Exupery.

In the Stagehands’ production, Dani Ramirez plays The Little Prince. It’s not just anyone who would leave their home planet in search for adventure and wisdom in the universe. The Little Prince finds these, but so much more, and reminds all of us how important it is to view the world with an open mind and to never let go of one’s childhood imagination.

Directors Lee Hayes and Ethan Hayes note that “Dani’s portrayal is spot on in depicting the extraordinary, imaginative, Little Prince; putting in joy, love, talent, and most importantly, bringing life to this character. Additionally, Dani has shown kindness, professionalism, and understanding throughout this directing process. We are so lucky to have Dani as well as the other cast members involved.”

The rest of the cast, who help tell the story as the The Little Prince encounters each of them, includes both veterans (Parker Hannack, Derek Huebel, Olivia Dumond, Ann Turner, Gary Lukes) and those new to the Stagehands Theatre stage (Jackson Sylvara, Amira, Mackenzie Nyhus). The show runs with performances at 7:30 p.m. July 21, 22, 28 and 29 and at 2 p.m. July 24 and 30. We're excited to see you there!
