PRESCOTT KIWANIS CLUB
STUDENT OF THE WEEK
This week’s Prescott High School Student of the Week sponsored by Prescott Kiwanis is senior Megan Gilles, nominated by Mr. Fiege.
Mr Fiege said: “Megan is a great leader, and strives to maintain a positive attitude. She helps those around her, and is always a great ambassador for PHS. During the current circumstances out of school, Megan has continued to perform at a high level, has been helpful in guiding discussions around graduation and recognizing seniors, and has maintained her positive leadership for her peers.”
Megan is supported by her parents, Joel Gilles and Jayne Henderlite, and works at the Prescott Boat Club. Her hobbies and interests include spending time with friends, weightlifting, running, reading and hiking. Megan also participated in Cross Country and Track & Field. Her future plans include attending the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Some of her school activities include National Honors Society and Yearbook Editor.
