SPRING VALLEY – The annual tradition continues as the Community and Youth Choirs return to the Stagehands Theatre for two special performances of their holiday concert, Midnight Clear.
Community Choir Director Cindy Kongshaug notes that holiday favorite songs such as “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear,” “Away in a Manger,” “When a Child is Born,” “O Holy Night,” and others will be performed. And as always, the choir will include fun songs, this year taking the audience on a tropical vacation through song!
Kongshaug notes she is excited to be in her 29th year of directing the choir. The Youth Choir, under the direction of Danielle Colbenson, is sure to melt your heart with its holiday cheer, performing its own songs and then joining the adult choir for a number. Concerts will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6 and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students and are available now. Tickets can also be purchased at the door prior to the performance.
