TOWN OF OAK GROVE A Minne – sota man was hospitalized after his airplane crashed in the town of Oak Grove Friday. At 6:52 a.m. July 29, 69-year-old Steven Hulse, of Inver Grove Heights, Minn., was operating a homemade experimental "So – nax" aircraft when he lost engine power. He attempted to make an emergency landing on State Highway 35 and County Road E, but his airplane struck multiple road signs. The aircraft skidded across Highway 35 and came to rest in the west ditch. Allina Medical Service transported Hulse from the scene to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with undisclosed injuries.
