TOWN OF OAK GROVE – Two people have died as the result of a motorcycle crash in the town of Oak Grove on Wednesday.
Pierce County deputies responded to a two-vehicle motorcycle crash with injuries at 6:13 p.m. April 22 on State Road 35 near 1050th Street.
A 2021 Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by Tamitha Thein, 47, Maplewood, Minn., was traveling northbound on State Road 35 when she collided with a 2022 Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by Evan Jorgenson, 26, Cottage Grove, Minn., who was traveling southbound on State Road 35.
Allina EMS transported Thein to Regions Hospital in Saint Paul, where she was announced dead.
Life Link Air Care flew Jorgenson to Regions Hospital, where he died the next day, April 23, as a result of his injuries.
Prescott Police Department, Prescott Fire Department, Allina EMS, Ellsworth EMS and Life Link Air Car assisted Pierce County deputies at the scene
