Staff report
TOWN OF OAK GROVE – At 2:36 p.m. Monday, July 5, Pierce County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a twovehicle crash on State Highway 35 near 1240th Street in Oak Grove Township.
Steven Gray, 65, Richfield, Minn., was driving a 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on State Highway 35 near 1240th Street; he had a passenger, Susan Kropfeld, 61, Burnsville, Minn. Gray struck a 2019 Dodge Ram pick-up truck that was making a U-turn on Highway 35. Minneapolis resident Timothy Lesso, 43, was driving the truck.
Allina Health Ambulance Service transported both Gray and Kropfeld from the scene to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with undetermined injuries. Lesso was not injured in the crash.
Prescott Police Department, Prescott Fire Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol assisted PCSO at the scene.
