As the school year ends, the summer season kicks off with this showcase by the RFHS Basie Jazz Ensemble at Music in the Park 7-9 p.m. Thursday, May 28 at Veterans Park. Students perform their medium-to advanced-level jazz repertoire, incorporating a sprinkling of improvisation.
Music in the Park is presented by the Community Arts Base (CAB) of River Falls, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to facilitating arts-related events and projects in and around the community of River Falls. Beginning in 1994, Music in the Park is CAB’s longest-running event.
Veterans Park is located at 1 N. Main St., downtown River Falls.
