ELLSWORTH - The Ellsworth Public Library has launched a new Home Delivery Service for Ellsworth-area residents who are unable to visit the library because of illness, disability, recovery from a medical procedure, or transportation limitations.
The free service brings library materials directly to participants’ homes every four weeks. Available materials include books, audiobooks, DVDs, CDs, magazines, and puzzles. Library staff will work with participants to select materials based on their interests and arrange delivery by a library volunteer.
The service is available to residents who live within the Ellsworth Community School District and meet the eligibility requirements. Delivery is dependent upon volunteer availability.
If you or someone you know could benefit from having library materials delivered to your home, contact the library at 715-273-3209, for more information and an application.
