PRESCOTT – The Prescott Area Chamber of Commerce proudly announces the appointment of Jasmine Westland as their new Chamber Coordinator.

Westland brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her new role, having honed her skills in event planning and community engagement over the years.

Originally from Ohio, Westland and her family more recently lived in Hastings, Minn. before Westland and her husband Mike became enamored with Prescott’s charm seven years ago, choosing to raise their two sons, Declan and Hendricks, in this close-knit community. With a strong foundation in event management, Westland’s expertise stems from owning her own floral studio which catered to grand celebrations and weddings for seven years.

Prior to her entrepreneurial venture, Westland excelled in talent acquisition, serving as an executive and campus recruiter. A profound commitment to family and faith led her to transition from her flourishing floral business to devote more time to raising her sons and actively volunteering at St. Joseph’s, contributing significantly as Gala Chair, and organizing various community events.

Expressing her excitement about this new chapter, Westland is eager to infuse her passion for event planning into her role at the chamber while maintaining the flexibility to remain devoted to her family and church. Her vision includes amplifying Prescott’s allure for visitors by expanding chamber events and fostering a greater sense of community among local businesses, aiming to create an enriched environment for both longstanding and new residents alike.
