A driver was stopped on 620th St. near Hwy. 29 and issued a citation for a traffic violation.

9:41 a.m.

A debris vs. pickup and trailer accident was reported near the intersection of Cty. Tk. CC and Hwy. 72 in Elmwood. No injuries were reported.

4:52 p.m.

Extra patrol was requested near the intersection of 1307th St. and 635th Ave. in

Prescott. 8:37 p.m.

Deputies responded to the area of the 1900 block of Michael Ln. in River Falls for juveniles playing ding dong ditch at residences in the area. A group of kids were located and admitted to doing it. River Falls PD arrived on scene and identified all the juveniles.

9:36 p.m.

While patrolling near the intersection of 1130th St. and Cty. Tk. FF in River Falls, a lone vehicle was located parked on DNR land after dark. Contact was made with two subjects who were passing time. They advised they would be on their way.

Five controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.

December 1 6:16 a.m.

A driver was stopped and cited for speed near the intersection of Cty. Tk. QQ and Hwy. 29 in Prescott.

6:22 a.m.

A driver was stopped and cited for speed near the intersection of Cty. Tk. QQ and Hwy. 29 in Prescott.

8:04 a.m.

Deputies responded near the intersection of 850th Ave. and Hwy. 128 in Spring Valley for a two-vehicle accident with injuries. A report was completed. 1:23 p.m.

A harassment complaint was received from 770th Ave. in River Falls.

5:55 p.m.

A Deputy assisted Prescott PD with an OWI and was given permission to from the registered owner to move their vehicle to a legal parking spot and provided the keys to the registered owner’s wife.

7:52 p.m.

A vehicle was stopped near the intersection of 1323rd St. and 653rd Ave. for failure to stop at a stop sign. The driver stated that he believed he went through the stop sign at about 15-20 m.p.h. A citation was issued for Failure to Stop.

Three controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete. December 2 2:13 a.m.

A vehicle was stopped for speed on 900th St. near Hwy. 29. The driver was issued a citation for speed.

8:00 a.m.

Extra patrol was requested on Cty. Tk. O in Ellsworth.

2:33 p.m.

Deputies responded to an address on 1020th St. in River Falls for a report of a suspicious vehicle operating slowly past residences. The vehicle was described as a silver-colored Dodge with black colored fenders with unknown plates. The vehicle was gone prior to arrival.

3:32 p.m.

Extra patrol was requested on 730th St. in Ellsworth.

4:39 p.m.

Threats were reported in the 300 block of S. Scott St. in Elmwood.

10:12 p.m.

A fraud complaint was received from a caller on Cardinal Dr. in Spring Valley. The subject reported receiving a call from someone that acted like a representative from Amazon calling to notify them of fraudulent purchases. That person instructed them to go to Walmart to purchase gift cards and give them numbers. The caller reported doing so. Statements were collected.

11:59 p.m.

Deputies were requested by Red Wing PD to assist in searching the area near the intersection of Hwy. 63 and 825th St. in Hager City after a male subject fled from them. Two bars and the surrounding area were searched. They were unable to make contact with the subject.

11 controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.

December 3 5:45 a.m.

A driver was cited for speed after being pulled over near the intersection of 690th St. and Hwy. 29 in River Falls.

6:28 a.m.

A driver was cited for speed after being stopped near the intersection of Cty. Tk. E and Hwy. 35 in Prescott.

6:43 a.m.

Two drivers were cited for speed after being stopped on 1005th St. near Hwy. 35 in Hager City.

9:35 a.m.

Deputies assisted the fire department with a carbon monoxide detector alarm on 165th Ave. in Hager City. The male appeared under the influence of narcotics. A report was done and forwarded to his probation agent.

11:03 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to 463rd Ave. in Prescott to take a report of a fraudulent purchase made on the complainant’s credit card after someone purchased a television. The transaction and card were cancelled.

4:54 p.m.

A complaint was received of someone in the park on 820th Ave. in River Falls with a firearm. The complainant was contacted and informed that there was muzzle loader hunting in the park.

8:05 p.m.

Deputies were notified of a suspicious purple Chrysler with no plates parked on the road near the intersection of 170th St. and 570th Ave. in Elmwood. The vehicle was towed prior to arrival.

9:08 p.m.

Deputies responded to Park St. in Maiden Rock for a noise complaint related to a blinking red light that buzzed loudly. The light was located and appeared to be part of the Village sewage system. The Village was contacted, and they stated they would respond to address the issue.

Five controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.

December 4 12:31 a.m.

Deputies were dispatched to 825th St. in Hager City following a report of an intoxicated male walking in the roadway. Contact was made on the MN side of the high bridge. The subject was cooperative and was walking to his residence in Red Wing.

12:09 p.m.

A driver was stopped near the intersection of 1005th St. near Hwy. 35 in Hager City for speed and passing in a no passing zone. A citation was issued for the passing zone violation.

6:19 p.m.

A Deputy responded to 290th St. in Spring Valley for a fraud complaint after the complainant was receiving scam calls. The subject requested tips on how to get the calls to stop. 6:55 p.m.

Deputies were dispatched to Hwy. 29 in Spring Valley for a gas drive off. The subject was contacted and stated he would call the gas station to pay for the fuel.

12 controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.

December 5 12:16 a.m.

A driver was stopped for speeding near the intersection of 1073rd St. and Hwy. 29 in River Falls. The driver was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated – 2nd Offense. 1:23 a.m.

A Deputy was dispatched to a truck in the middle of the roadway with the driver passed out in Beldenville near the intersection of Cty. Tk. N and Hwy. 63. The driver was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated – 2nd Offense and OWL.

2:18 a.m.

Extra patrol was requested in the 100 block of Main St. in Plum City.

2:33 a.m.

Deputies were dispatched for a two-car crash in Hager City near the intersection of 1005th St. and Hwy. 35. One subject was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated.

10:08 a.m.

A driver was stopped and cited for speed in Hager City near the intersection of 1005th St. and Hwy. 35.

10:48 a.m.

Illegal dumping was reported after a complainant on 870th St. in Ellsworth reported finding tires dumped on their property. The caller reported to be adding cameras in an attempt to identify the suspect if it happens again. 2:05 p.m.

A deer was freed that had been stuck in a fence on Cty. Tk. E in Prescott.

4:16 p.m.

Lost property was reported on Cty. TK. VV in Hager City.
