On Saturday, May 9th, 2020 at about 2:08 pm, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a one vehicle crash with injuries on State Road 65, near 610th Avenue Ellsworth, in Ellsworth Township.
It was determined that a 2009 Chrysler Town & Country van operated by Julius Cadwallader, 18 years old from Hudson, was traveling southbound on State Road 65 when he lost control and entered into the west ditch striking a culvert.
Mr. Cadwallader had a passenger Kaylie Schmidt, 18 years old also of Hudson, both were transported by Ellsworth Area Ambulance Service to River Falls Area Hospital with undetermined injuries.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Ellsworth Fire Department and Ellsworth Area Ambulance Services.
