RIVER FALLS – Big things are happening for Our Neighbors’ Place in River Falls, and we can’t wait to share them with you! As we begin construction on our new facility this spring, we’re packing up and moving—but don’t worry, we’re not going far!
To facilitate a successful move, The Closet Thrift Store and The Day Center will be closed from March 21-31 while we relocate to a temporary location in downtown River Falls at 103 N. Main St., next door to Veteran’s Park. Ample parking will be available at this location on Main Street, in the alley at the River Walk, or in the Heritage Park lot across the Kinni River.
On April 1, we will reopen and look forward to seeing you at our downtown Main Street location where we will be until Spring 2027. We are excited to bring you the same great services at our Day Center and the same great shopping opportunities at The Closet, both with updated hours.
The Closet will be open to shoppers starting April 1: 10-6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Friday; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. As a reminder, we accept donations of gently-used adult clothing, shoes, outerwear, and accessories during open hours.
The Day Center will be open starting April 1: 1-4 p.m. Monday (appt. only); and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday- Friday. Resources available through the Day Center include: food, microwave, lockers, laundry, mailing address, referrals, gas cards/taxi vouchers, personal care items, shower vouchers, children’s clothing vouchers, case management, and more.
Stop by, say hello, and follow our journey as we build a bright future for the good people of Pierce and St. Croix counties.
