_ ers,” Brandon Voelker said. “You’re looking at Altoona who just played in a sectional and Kale Hopke who in my words no

_ hit us this year and we’re a team that hits pretty well usually. He’s going to NDSU (to pitch). I thought Urban (Broadway) would be a first

_ team guy, but the cards fall where they may.”

Coach Voelker also spoke highly of sophomore Carter Pearce and senior Tanner Pechacek, who received All

_ Conference Hon _ orable Mention for their efforts this year. Coach Voelker stated that it’s hard to get a lot of guys on the three lists when the record isn’t as great as other teams in the league. He spoke about a bright future for the program.

“We bring back two of our three outfielders and four of our five infielders,” Brandon Voelker said. “If we can build a catcher for next year we will be right there and really competitive.”
