On Saturday, November 28th, 2020 at about 3:17 p.m., the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a single motorcycle crash on County Road OO near 370th Avenue Hager City in Diamond Bluff Township.
It was determined that a 2014 Victory motorcycle operated by Mark Gjertson, 44,from Roseville, MN, was traveling north on County Road OO when he hit a patch of sand. Gjertson lost control of his motorcycle and traveled left of center and laid the motorcycle on its side in the south bound lane.
Gjertson and his passenger Teresa Majerus, 47 years old from Zumbrota, MN proceeded to the Holiday Gas Station in Prescott. Majerus was transported from there by Allina Emergency Medical Services to Regina Hospital in Hastings with undetermined injuries. Gjertson was uninjured in the crash.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Prescott Police Department and Allina Emergency Medical Services.
