TOWN OF MARTELL – Artist and Pastor Paul Oman will be at Rush River Lutheran Church at 9:30 a.m. June 8. Experience a “Drawn to the Word” worship and artistic experience where Oman will paint a larger-than-life-sized mural based on the “I am statements” found in the Book of John.
Oman seeks to give new vision to God’s Word by using the process of painting to captivate audiences in our visually oriented cultures. Painting and drawing have been a part of Oman’s life since childhood. Receiving national and international recognition for his work, Oman uses the gift of painting to proclaim the Gospel in unique and powerful ways that bring the Word of God to life before your eyes.
Oman lives near Amery with his wife Jana and their children.
Rush River Lutheran Church invites children, youth and adults to watch the story unfold artistically, musically, narratively and scripturally during the event. The church is located at N8263 County Road Y, River Falls. Lunch will be served following the service. All are welcome.
