Patricia Ellen (Peterson) Gleeson, “Patty,” age 83, of Burnsville, formerly of St. Paul, Minn., passed away peacefully on Jan. 15, 2026. Patty was born to Arthur and Helen (Marker) Peterson. She worked in sales for Avon cosmetics and other jobs that she enjoyed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Gleeson; siblings, Arvid, and Roger (Diane) Peterson and Karen (Don) Jongquist. Patty is survived by her children, Debbie (Steven) Cherney, David Preston and Jackie (Ulrik) Berthelsen; grandchildren, Steven Cherney, Candice (Patrick) Long, Brennen (Ashtyn) Cherney, Mitchell (Jenean) Cherney, Amber Preston, John (Christina) Preston and Oliver Berthelsen, 13 great-grandchildren and brother-in-law, Don Jongquist.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 22 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Beldenville, Wis., with a visitation starting at 10 a.m. Internment, church cemetery. Condolences at: www.whitefuneralhomes.com
