PCSO responds to 2 crashes over the weekend

Pierce County deputies were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash at 8:05 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5 on US Highway 63 at 825th Street in the town of Trenton. A 2017 Honda CRV, driven by James Stringfellow, 67, Richfield, Minn., was heading south on Highway 63 when it lost control and entered the ditch. Red Wing EMS transported Stringfellow to Mayo Red Wing Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Red Wing Police Department and Ellsworth Fire also assisted at the scene.

Officers responded at 3:10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7 to a motorcycle crash on 950th Street just south of 770th Avenue in the town of River Falls. A 2007 Kawasaki, driven by Christopher Chavers, 41, Ellsworth, was heading north on 950th Street when it lost control on a curve. Allina EMS transported Chavers to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with undisclosed injuries. River Falls Fire also assisted at the scene.
