PHS places 2nd at B-W Invitational

PRESCOTT – The Prescott High School Speech Team took second place at the Baldwin- Woodville High School Invitational out of a field of 14 schools on Saturday, Feb. 4.

Addison Huppert led the team with first place in both Informative and Moments in History categories.

In addition to Huppert, these students earned individual awards contributing to Prescott’s success: Abby Stubbe (first in Demonstration and fourth in Prose), Nora Boles (third in Demonstration), Kinsey Peterson (fourth in Demonstration and first in Solo Acting), Rian Engeldinger (fourth in Extemporaneous Speaking), Sophia Kapsh (first in Farrago), Allie Tibayan (fifth in Moments in History), Erica Jennings (second in Oratory), Bryn Anderson (fourth in Oratory), Kelcey Hanson (second in Poetry), Lili Campfield-Huth (fifth in Prose), Ella Johnson (fourth in Public Address), Mabel Rohl (second in Radio Speaking), Rory Zuehlsdorf (first in Special Occasion), Will Markert (second in Storytelling), and Delia Warp (third in Storytelling). Just out of medal contention were Madison Schmitz in Poetry and Grace Ryan in Prose.
