The Prescott High School speech team competed at the subdistrict festival in Hudson on Thursday, March 2. Prescott brought 28 entries and all 28 entries advanced to the district competition which will be held on March 25 at Hudson High School. Students qualified with scores of 16 or higher in two of their three rounds. The following students advanced to the next level:
Demonstration: Makenna and Kendra Ogilvie, Nora Boles, Abby Stubby
Extemporaneous Speaking: Rian Engeldinger
Farrago: Sophia Kapsh
Impromptu: Katie Huppert, Alissa Zerneke, Hunter Dearborn
Informative: Addison Huppert
Moments in History: Cara Fiedler, Allie Tibayan
Oratory: Eria Jennings, Bryn Anderson
Poetry: Kelcey Hanson, Madison Schmitz, Shira Stubbe, Kaitlyn Sanney
Prose: Lili Campfield-Huth, Grace Ryan, Owen Henderson, Andaria Henderson
Public Address: Ella Johnson
Radio News Reporting: Mabel Rohl, Max Dearborn
Solo Acting: Kinsey Peterson
