ELMWOOD – On Saturday, Aug. 20, members of the Elmwood Crain-Ottman American Legion Post 207 and the American Legion Auxiliary spent most of the day at Elmwood Butternut Park repairing picnic tables. Many of the tables needed to be completely rebuilt as they were too cracked and broken.
Funding for the materials was provided by the Elmwood Chamber of Commerce Enrichment Fund. There are still more picnic tables needing repair, so an additional work day was scheduled for 1 p.m. Aug. 30.
