July 6
•At 2:22 a.m., police responded to a domestic incident at N1582 County Road C, Bay City. A woman was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and strangulation and suffocation.
•At 7:41 a.m. a Silver Alert was issued for a missing man from River Falls.
•At 1:41 p.m., deputies responded to N6251 1240th St., Prescott, for a report of two people sitting in a truck on a private roadway. They were warned for trespassing.
•Officers responded to E329 Eau Galle Road, Spring Valley, for someone burning brush and pine branches. The burn was not for recreational purposes. Police informed him of village burning ordinances and advised him to put the fire out. Info was passed onto Spring Valley police.
•Police checked on the welfare of a woman walking southbound on Highway 63 at 8:21 p.m. She had just been released from jail. Police provided her courtesy ride to her residence.
•Police responded at 9:27 p.m. to N3807 County Road DD, Bay City, for a possible domestic and an injured person. All parties agreed to separate for the evening.
July 7
•Deputies arrested a person on a warrant at 1:12 a.m. at W1173 Maryann St., Spring Valley.
•Police responded to a business alarm at 3:50 a.m. at N4306 Highway 63, Ellsworth. Signs of forced entry were observed and several gaming machines had been broken into. The case remains under investigation.
•Police arrested a man on multiple failure to appear warrants at 11:15 a.m. at N4306 Highway 63, Ellsworth.
•Deputies were advised of a driving complaint at 5:54 p.m. at highways 35 and 63 in Hager City. One suspect told police the complainant yelled at them at the stop sign. All parties were advised to be adults.
•Deputies assisted River Falls police were a car vs. pedestrian accident at 10:27 p.m. at 709 N. Main St.
July 8
•At 6:09 a.m., a caller reported a trailer parked in his front yard at N1353 County Road EE, Bay City, was missing the license plate.
•A resident called police at 8:38 a.m. to request extra patrol for speeding vehicles as County Road O and Highway 65 in the town of River Falls.
•A possible burglary in progress was reported at 9:05 a.m. at W6534 Carson St., Bay City. Police arrived and everything appeared secure.
•A complainant reported concern for three horses at 9:45 a.m. at N2395 County Road K, Hager City. The horse’s owner told police two new horses are from a rescue organization and she’s trying to get them to gain weight. The other horses is a 35-year-old mustang pony. They all get grain and hay daily and their intake has been increased due to dry conditions, the owner said.
•At 10:13 a.m., a caller with car trouble requested her car be towed from N4351 County Road HH, Elmwood, and she turned herself in on a probation warrant.
•At 12:54 p.m., police responded to N8634 County Road Y, River Falls, for a neighbor yelling at another neighbor on the property line. The suspect was told to leave his neighbor alone.
•Deputies stood by at 3:12 p.m. at 316 S. Scott St., Elmwood, as a man gathered belongings.
•Suspicious vehicles were reported at 8:21 p.m. at N8248 950th St., River Falls. Police did not locate them.
•At 11:48 p.m., a caller informed police he hit a deer at 850th Street and Highway 29 near River Falls.
July 9
•At 12:09 a.m., police found a vehicle parked on the road near N8838 1160th St., River Falls. It remained there for more than 10 minutes. When police approached the vehicle, strong odors of marijuana and alcohol came from the vehicle. The driver admitted to drinking and smoking weed; after field sobriety tests, the driver was arrested for OWI.
•Police responded at 12:59 a.m. to 704 First St., Plum City, where a man was locked out of the house after breaking up with a woman. Both parties were informed of the eviction process.
•Police received a garbage dumping complaint at 1:05 p.m. from N5220 450th St., Ellsworth. The complainant found garbage in his ditch. A suspect was identified and given a verbal warning.
•At 1:56 p.m., police responded to N7652 650th St., Beldenville, after a third party stated a man there was acting odd and disorderly. The homeowner said everything was fine and the man left without incident.
•At 6:50 p.m., a woman called police and said a vehicle parks in front of her house for long periods of time on 970th Street, River Falls. She was told to call back when the vehicle was there.
•At 9:27 p.m., police observed a vehicle in the park after hours at N5154 County Road O, Ellsworth. The driver and passenger admitted other occupants in the car had been smoking marijuana, but had left. A search of the vehicle turned up nothing.
•At 10:16 p.m., a vehicle was stopped for driving with no lights, following too closely and driving on the wrong side of the road, at Highway 10 and Canary Lane. The driver said he was messing around with his friend, whom he was following. The parents were notified and the juveniles told to go home.
•Police responded at 10:46 p.m. to W7650 County Road V, Ellsworth, for a fireworks complaint. The homeowner was warned.
July 10
•At 1:06 p.m., police stood by as a man removed property per court order from N8870 County Road F, River Falls.
•At 6:16 p.m., police found a man walking on the side of the road near N4172 Highway 35 near Prescott. He told police he was trying to avoid the Secret Service and on his way to Stockholm. Police contacted his son, then took the man back to his home.
•Police responded at 9:47 p.m. to 770th Avenue and Highway 29, River Falls, for a fireworks complaint. The complainants said the neighbors were done shooting them when police arrived.
July 11
•An anonymous caller told police at 12:40 a.m. that underage people were drinking at N673 825th St., Hager City. Police checked IDs and everyone was legal drinking age.
•At 3:02 a.m., police observed a vehicle parked on the street at 1220th Street and Highway 35, Prescott. The occupants were outside the vehicle shooting of small fireworks.
•At 3:47 a.m., a caller told police people were “messing around” with construction equipment at W6621 610th Ave., Ellsworth. No one was located.
•At 4:22 a.m., police came upon a man walking at County Road J and Highway 65 near Beldenville. He was heavily intoxicated and lost. He was given a courtesy ride.
•At 8:45 a.m., staff at N4351 County Road HH, Elmwood, told police a woman has been harassing them about keys she left when she arrested. No one at the park has the keys. The woman was issued a verbal trespassing warning for the park. She was told to have someone besides herself or her boyfriend gather the rest of their property.
•Police responded at 9:25 a.m. to W7286 155th Ave., Bay City, and W7274 Highway 35, Bay City, for a burglary complaint.
•At 5:59 p.m., police responded to W11408 County Road M, River Falls, for a pigeon in someone’s garage. It was placed outside so it could fly home.
•Police responded at 8:35 p.m. to 450th Avenue and 110th Street near Plum City for a vehicle-vs. power pole crash. The vehicle was unoccupied when police arrived. Follow up will be conducted.
