Officers responded to a motorcycle vs. pickup truck crash with injuries at 5:48 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3 on Highway 29 about one-half mile east of Highway 65 in the town of River Falls. A 2017 Chevrolet Silverado, operated by Scott Reuter, 61, River Falls, was traveling eastbound on Highway 29. He slowed to make a left-hand turn into a private driveway. While doing so, a 2007 Victory motorcycle, also traveling eastbound, operated by Dylan Sonday, 18, Woodville, attempted to pass Reuter on the left. Sonday struck Reuter’s pick-up truck, left the roadway and struck a street sign. Sonday was transported from the scene by Allina Ambulance Service to the River Falls Area Hospital in River Falls with undetermined injuries. Assisting the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office at the scene was River Falls Fire Department and Allina Ambulance Service.
