Pierce County accidents: April 22-25, 2025

Police were called to a single vehicle crash at 8:41 a.m. Tuesday, April 22 on State Road 35 near 468th Avenue in the town of Oak Grove. A 2017 Volvo semi trailer, driven by Segundo Guaman Landi, 44, Fridley, Minn., was traveling southbound on State Road 35 when the load shifted and he lost control of the truck, entering the ditch. Allina EMS transported Guaman Landi to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with undisclosed injuries. Prescott Fire, Prescott Police, Allina EMS and Pierce County Highway Department assisted the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.

Deputies were dispatched at 9:51 p.m. Friday, April 25 to a single motorcycle crash with injury on County Road S near 290th Street in the town of Maiden Rock. A 2000 Harley Davidson, operated by Kolten Bongard, 28, Pepin, was traveling northbound on County Road S when he lost control and entered the ditch. Bongard was not injured in the accident. His passenger, identified as Tabitha Breland, 30, Boyceville, was transported by Plum City Ambulance Service to Mayo Hospital in Red Wing, Minn. with undetermined injuries. Plum City Ambulance Service and the Lund Fire Department assisted PCSO at the scene.
