The Pierce County Board of Supervisors meeting that had been planned for Tuesday, May 26 was cancelled last week.
It seems from the meeting agenda, that the Pierce County Fair likely is being cancelled for this summer.
The board had been scheduled to act on a resolution on the first reading for “Cancellation of Pierce Co. Fair.”
The board was also set to take action on the 2021 budget guidelines as well as amending the Public Health Dept. fee schedule and the fees for services of the County Medical Examiner and Deputy Medical Examiner.
It seems likely that Pierce County will still be phasing in services at the time of the fair, so it’s no surprise that it would be cancelled.
It gives us one more things to look forward to next summer!
