The following incidents were reported to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Aug. 1-7.

Monday, Aug. 1

At 11:40 a.m., deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash without injury at Highway 128 and 770th Avenue near Spring Valley. An accident report will be completed.

Police were called at 5:04 p.m. to W4133 Highway 29, Spring Valley, for a standby/ keep the peace during an eviction.

Officers responded at 9:19 p.m. to W6274 Highway 29, River Falls, where a juvenile took their stepfather’s vehicle without permission. The parents wanted the vehicle returned, which it was. The juvenile was advised to ask permission before taking a vehicle.

Deputies responded at 9:40 p.m. to W3936 330th Ave., Maiden Rock for a domestic. A man was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and resisting or obstructing an officer. A bystander was arrested for disorderly conduct. At 11:29 p.m.., a complainant reported a juvenile for being disorderly and physically abusive at 104 Cherry Ave., Plum City. The juvenile’s father picked them up and child services was contacted.

Tuesday, Aug. 2

At 12:31 a.m., police received a harassment complaint at W3936 330th Ave., Maiden Rock. The complainant said she was receiving texts saying she was getting kicked out of her residence in the morning. The suspect was contacted and advised of the formal eviction process. He was told not to contact the woman without the formal eviction process being in place.

Police were asked to perform a welfare check at 2:02 a.m. at N1090 825th St., Hager City on a man acting paranoid. The man was uncooperative and resisted multiple officers. He was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer.

At 8:59 a.m., police found part of a car bumper without a license plate off the road near 570th Avenue and Jefferson Street in Prescott.

A caller complained at 12:52 p.m. that construction vehicles were parked on the road at 910th Street and 690th Avenue, River Falls. The crew had no other options and the vehicles were visible.

At 1:32 p.m., a rural Ellsworth resident reported that his brother had again put a spell on him.

A resident at W9722 290th Ave., Hager City, called officers at 4:25 p.m. to ask about options when his neighbor plays loud, vulgar music. It occurs when his grandkids are over. Officers provided him with options.

Officers responded at 7:06 p.m. to N3260 County Road O, Hager City for damage to garage. The cause was unknown.

At 9:13 p.m., a caller at W8685 570th Ave., Ellsworth, reported someone for revving their engine in front of his house. When police arrived, the vehicle was gone.

Officers arrested a driver for OWI-first after a traffic stop for operating left of center at 9:40 p.m. near 450th Avenue and County Road C, Ellsworth.

Wednesday, Aug. 3

Trees were reported down in the roadway at the following locations: 1:24 a.m. at County Road G and Highway 63, Beldenville 1:27 a.m. at Highway 63 and 690th Ave., Beldenville 1:30 a.m. at W4798 690th Ave., Beldenville 1:34 a.m. at County Road C and 690th Avenue, Spring Valley 1:34 a.m. at W6795 450th Ave., Spring Valley 1:40 a.m. at county roads G and N, Ellsworth 1:46 a.m. at W6696 County Road N, Beldenville 2:13 a.m. at W4645 690th Ave., Beldenville 2:16 a.m. at 290th Street and 690th Avenue, Spring Valley 2:19 a.m. at County Road BB and 730th Avenue, Spring Valley 2:31 a.m. at highways 128 and 29 2:36 a.m. at W8564 640th Ave., Ellsworth 3:34 a.m. at 530th Street and 730th Avenue, Spring Valley 4:28 a.m. at N6745 750th St., Beldenville 5:30 a.m. at County Road O and 570th Avenue, Ellsworth 5:32 a.m. at County Road N and 650th Avenue, Beldenville 5:35 a.m. at 870th Street and 650th Avenue, River Falls 5:55 a.m. at 710th Street and 450th Avenue, Ellsworth 6:18 a.m. at County Road S and 190th Street, Plum City Police stood by at 4:51 a.m. at 750th Street and Highway 65, Beldenville, while Pierce Pepin removed a power line from the roadway.

Deputies discovered that two road signs (curve and cautionary 35 mph) were snapped off at 6:28 a.m. at County Road N and 640th Avenue, Ellsworth.

At 10:58 a.m., police responded to the beach area at Highway 35 and County Road AA, Maiden Rock, for a report of a tent and trash covering the beach. The people were identified by papers found on the beach.

Officers received a report of homeless people staying in tents at 11:40 a.m. at W5334 Highway 63, Spring Valley. Per the town chairman, there should be a “twonight camping” sign and the people had been there much longer. Police made contact with people in two tents, who said they were homeless. They were asked to move on; one family asked to stay until their new trailer is ready Aug. 15. The information was passed on to the township. They were also notified the two-night camping sign was gone.

Police arrested a driver at 12:19 p.m. at Highway 29 and County Road E for OWI and multiple traffic violations.

Deputies responded at 2:26 p.m. at N2272 County Road D, Bay City for a restraining order violation, where a man was arrested.

The highway department removed a tree from the road at 3:05 p.m. at Highway 35 and 125th Avenue, Bay City.

At 5:47 p.m., police responded to W9330 Highway 29, River Falls for a motorcycle vs. truck crash. The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital and the motorcycle towed.

Police were called at 7:15 p.m. N4051 970th St., Hager City, for a suspicious person complaint. A man wearing only boxers had knocked on the door. He was later located and arrested for a Minnesota warrant.

At 8:32 p.m., an intoxicated man called police to report he’d been left near N6178 425th St., Ellsworth and was lost. His girlfriend provided him with a ride.

Police responded at 11:03 p.m. to W5334 Highway 63, Spring Valley for a trespassing complaint. The people had been spoken to earlier in the day.

Thursday, Aug. 4

At 2:34 a.m., officers responded to N4393 1130th St., Prescott for a suspicious vehicle complaint and a car alarm going off. Prescott police later located the vehicle and arrested the driver for OWI-first.

A package delivery person reported a dog bite at 9:19 a.m. at N5426 1220th St., Prescott. The owners were given quarantine paperwork.

At 9:45 a.m., police were called to W4379 370th Ave., Ellsworth for a cat up a tree. The owner was going to try to get permission from a farmer to drive a fire truck through the field to get the cat and call back.

Officers responded at 11:13 a.m. to N1475 62nd Ave., Plum City for a physical domestic.

At 1:15 p.m., deputies received a complaint about illegal garbage dumping near county roads QQ and MM. Police located the garbage’s owner, and a woman said her son and his friend were supposed to take it to a dumpster. She said she’d clean it all up.

At 2:09 p.m., a caller reported possible neglect to miniature horses at W350 370th Ave., Plum City.

At 3:15 p.m., police checked on a suspicious man walking along the road at Highway 63 and 825th Street, Hager City. The man was distraught due to a recent breakup. Police talked with him and gave him a courtesy ride to Red Wing.

At 4:34 p.m., police responded to N3198 875th St., Hager City for an unwanted person complaint. Police located a man and woman in the woods. The woman was arrested for a warrant, bail jumping and possess drug paraphernalia. The man was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possess drug paraphernalia.

Officers were called at 5:07 p.m. to Highway 35 and 1240th Street, Prescott for a dead dog in the road that had been hit by a car. The owner came to collect the pet.

Deputies assisted River Falls police at 5:17 p.m. with a crash with injuries and road blockage at Cemetery Road and Main Street, River Falls.

At 5:26 p.m., a resident at W1002 Highway 72, Elmwood, showed police photos of his neighbor’s dog on his property. The dog’s owner will be cited.

At 8:05 p.m., police were called to 304 S. Wasson Lane, River Falls for a possible domestic.

At 9:08 p.m., police received a report of a stranded jet ski near the Trenton Island boat launch. Red Wing Fire was able to rescue all occupants.

Friday, Aug. 5

Deputies responded at 5:06 a.m. to W6650 Maple St., Bay City for a domestic in progress. Police spoke with multiple people and a man was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and bail jumping.

At 11:47 a.m., police received a welfare check request for a hitchhiker at Highway 63 and 770th Street in Hager City. He was not located.

At 12:56 p.m., a caller at 713 First St., Plum City reported suspicious people in her yard asking if the house was for sale or not. They left but she wanted the incident documented.

Officers were called again to the Martell roadside park (W5334 Highway 63, Spring Valley) at 1:34 p.m. for people camping. They agreed to leave by Monday morning.

Police stopped at 1:47 p.m. at W3515 Highway 35, Maiden Rock to check on a snake. It was gone when police arrived.

Deputies were requested to respond at 2:17 p.m. to N7610 County Road E, River Falls for an open door on a shed. No one was located inside or nearby.

At 2:27 p.m., a caller at N4013 730th St., Ellsworth, reported a white vehicle that parks in the driveway and does burnouts in the grass at night. Police advised the caller to set up a camera and call when the incident is occurring.

Officers responded at 2:49 p.m. to the golf course (N6890 1230th St., Prescott) for a physical altercation. Both parties refused to pursue charges and were counseled on their behavior.

Deputies spoke with a complainant at 5:24 p.m. at N1109 530th St., Bay City about roommate issues. Both agreed to try and get along.

An animal bite was reported at 6:20 p.m. at W7048 610th Ave., Ellsworth. A juvenile was transported by ambulance to the hospital.

At 6:36 p.m., a caller requested police respond to 316 S. Scott St., Elmwood for a suspicious activity complaint. The caller saw a man near the residence who was banned from being there. Police didn’t locate anyone.

At 7 p.m., police responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint at W4857 Highway 35, Bay City. The vehicle has been reported parking there multiple times, but when police arrived, it was unoccupied.

A caller reported a suspicious vehicle at 10:02 p.m. parked near N8175 970th St., River Falls. The vehicle was unoccupied; the complainant thought maybe the neighbors were having a gathering.

Officers responded at 10:16 p.m. to W6087 Highway 10, Ellsworth for suspicious people in a parking lot. When police arrived, the people were gone. Police escorted employees to their vehicles.

Deputies were called at 10:55 p.m. to N225 Newman Ave., Spring Valley for a suspicious activity complaint. The caller said a man was acting weird and being rude, but police didn’t locate him.

Saturday, Aug. 6

Officers responded to a possible burglary in progress at 7:40 a.m. at W6366 Tank St., Bay City. No one was located in the residence, which was secure.

Deputies were called at 11:32 a.m. to W4001 120th Ave., Maiden Rock, for disorderly conduct. All parties were spoken to.

After a 5:11 p.m. traffic stop near 250th Avenue and 210th Street in Maiden Rock, a man with five outstanding warrants was arrested.

At 8:07 p.m., a caller reported vandalism/theft at N1299 825th St., Hager City. The caller said someone had drilled holes in his company van and siphoned gas.

Police responded at 8:44 p.m. to N1109 530th St., Bay City for a welfare check. The caller said a neighbor was unconscious in her vehicle. When police arrived, the woman appeared to be ok and went back into her home.

Officers received a noise complaint for loud music at 10:17 p.m. at N5636 County Road E, River Falls. The loud music stopped when police arrived and the resident refused to answer the door. Police left them a voicemail.

At 10:48 p.m., deputies were called to W1670 Meadow Lane, Spring Valley for a tenant dispute. The parties came to an agreement and separated.

Officers responded at 10:55 p.m. to W8688 Highway 10, Ellsworth, for a woman who had fought with her friends at the bar. She was given a courtesy ride home.

At 11:51 p.m., police were summoned to W8941 Highway 10, Ellsworth for a domestic. A woman was arrested for disorderly conduct, battery, and resisting or obstructing an officer and taken to Pierce County Jail.

Sunday, Aug. 7

Deputies responded at 1:05 a.m. to N673 825th St., Hager City for a possible assault. When police arrived, everyone refused to speak about what happened. They also declined EMS.

A caller requested a standby/keep the peace at 7:55 a.m. at W440 County Road Z, Arkansaw. No officers were available; the caller was advised to reschedule.

At 11:20 a.m., family members found a deceased senior citizen man at N2926 320th St., Maiden Rock.

At 11:30 a.m., an upset caller reported to police that his neighbor is flying his helicopter too low over his home at W10816 Highway 35, Prescott.

At 7:47 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious vehicle at N2286 County Road U, Plum City. No one was located.

Police responded to a car vs. deer crash at 8:55 p.m. at 620th Avenue and Highway 10, Prescott. The vehicle had started on fire. There were no injuries; the car was towed.

At 9:15 p.m., police were asked to stand by and keep the peace at W8910 570th Ave., Ellsworth while a man removed his belongings.

A caller reported a tree in the roadway at 10:43 p.m. at N6240 Highway 65, Beldenville.
