November 23 4:02 a.m.

While on routine patrol, sparks were observed coming from a telephone pole near the intersection of 450th St. and Hwy. 72 in Ellsworth. Upon inspection of the pole, it appeared to have blown a fuse. No issues or flames were noted in the area. Dispatch was advised to contact the utilities company.

8:12 a.m.

A Deputy was dispatched to River Falls near the intersection of 790th St. and Hwy. 29. for evidence of a vehicle that went into a ditch. Car parts were located but nothing was found to identify the vehicle or driver.

8:31 a.m.

A complaint was received of trespassing on a property located on 860th St. in Hager City. The complainant wanted people warned for the violation and for them to know they are not allowed on the property other than for resort business. They were warned.

8:34 a.m.

Deputies were called to the area of Cty. Hwy. K in Hager City about neglected horses. The department has been in contact with the owners and the horses have been deemed to be in fine health for their individual situation.

8:48 a.m.

Dispatch received a report of a cow in the roadway on Cty. Tk. MM in Prescott. The owner was contacted and took care of the issue prior to arrival.

9:10 a.m.

A stray black cat was reported on 590th St. in Spring Valley.

11:35 a.m.

Illegal dumping was reported on 630th Ave. in Elmwood.

12:48 p.m.

Deputies spoke with a subject on 285th Ave. in Hager City who reported a stray bullet going through their residence.

2:16 p.m.

An ATV operator was pulled over for operating on Hwy. 72 in Ellsworth and warned for operating on a highway and no proof of safety certificate.

3:06 p.m.

Deputies assisted Prescott PD with traffic control at the scene of a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of Hwy. 10 and Hwy. 29.

4:19 p.m.

A political sign was stolen from an address on Cty. Tk. VV in Hager City sometime the previous weekend.

4:24 p.m.

A caller reported threats from an address on 690th Ave. in Beldenville.

4:28 p.m.

Fraud to a checking account was reported from an address on 163rd Ave. in Hager City.

5:08 p.m.

Deputies responded to an address on Hwy. 10 in Ellsworth for a suspicious package that was received. The subject stated her car had been broken into in another jurisdiction and the package contained her missing Driver’s License, among other items. See report.

6:01 p.m.

Deputies responded to an address on 370th Ave. in Hager City to take possession of drugs and drug related items.

Eight controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.

November 24 8:48 a.m.

Information was received about a traffic violation that was observed by a Conservation Warden. A citation was issued by mail. 2:31 p.m. Deputies responded to the area of 760th Ave. in River Falls for a hunting complaint. The complainant was concerned that hunters were parked too close to their property. The hunters were spoken with and said they did not hunt near the complainant’s property and were aware of the 100-yard shooting rule.

3:44 p.m.

Disorderly conduct was reported from Hwy. 29 in Prescott. Upon arrival, neither of the people involved wanted to make statements.

4:37 p.m.

Deputies responded to the area of 770th Ave. in River Falls for a complaint of vehicles driving too fast. Stationary traffic was conducted, and no violations were found during that time.

7:29 p.m.

A driver was stopped near the intersection of 510th St. and Hwy. 29 in Spring Valley and warned for speeding.

7:59 p.m.

A driver was stopped near the intersection of 510th St. and Hwy. 29 in Spring Valley and issued a citation for speeding.

November 25 1:11 a.m.

A suspicious person was investigated on Hwy. 29 in Spring Valley.

1:17 a.m.

A security/perimeter check was performed on a business on Hwy. 29 in Spring Valley after a suspicious vehicle was located in the parking lot. All doors were secure, and nothing looked out of place.

6:50 a.m.

A deer was removed from the roadway near the intersection of 750th Ave. and Cty. Tk. BB in Spring Valley.

10:31 a.m.

Extra patrol was requested through the Village of Maiden Rock. A caller advised they were almost hit while coming out of their driveway by a vehicle that was traveling too fast. The caller said the other vehicle had to swerve into oncoming traffic to avoid a collision and almost hit a guardrail. The caller feared for his and his neighbor’s safety and said a squad car can sit in his driveway at any time.

5:44 p.m.

Dispatch received a report of a suspicious vehicle pulling into random driveways on Cty. Tk. V in Ellsworth. Contact was made with the driver, who advised that she was lost. All appeared okay.

6:05 p.m.

A Deputy was dispatched to an address on 794th Ave. in Spring Valley for an animal bite complaint. The owner of the dog and the subject who were bit were spoken to.

Five controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.

November 26 3:49 a.m.

Deputies were dispatched to Chester St. in Maiden Rock for a car vs. train accident. Multiple subjects were spoken to and the driver of the motor vehicle was arrested for Operating M/V While Intoxicated – 2nd Offense and Operating After Revocation.

4:24 p.m.

A subject was reported to be operating an ATV on Cty. Tk. O in Hager City, which is not an ATV route.

10:01 p.m.

A Deputy was requested by Prescott PD to assist with an incident involving a firearm in the 300 block of Lawrence St. Photographs and evidence were collected.

Six controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.

November 27 9:43 a.m.

A parking complaint was received on 150th Ave. in Bay City. 1:05 p.m.

Deputies responded to an address on 690th St. in Bay City for a trespassing complaint.

7:06 p.m.

Deputies were dispatched to 975th St. in River Falls for a possible shooting complaint. The complainant stated it sounded like it was east of his residence. RFPD stated that somebody was shooting off fireworks by the high school, which is east of the residence.

11:31 p.m.

Deputies were dispatched to an address on Hwy. 35 in Prescott for a suspicious pickup truck in the complainant’s driveway. The complainant said the vehicle was running with headlights on and had been parked there for some time.

12 controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.

November 28 9:02 a.m.

A cat was reported missing on 770th St. in Hager City.

12:18 p.m.

Deputies responded to a report of a tractor fire on 1170th St. in Prescott. There was no injury.

1:28 p.m.

A wallet was found in the roadway on 570th Ave. in Ellsworth. Contact was made with the owner, who stated it must have fallen off his car when he was leaving his deer hunting spot. The wallet was returned intact.

3:00 p.m.

A complainant reported their driver’s side rear window shattered as they met a vehicle on Hwy. 63. It appeared a rock may have broken the window. The damage did not appear to be intentional.

3:07 p.m.

A trespassing hunter left a ladder behind at a property on Van Buren Rd. in Spring Valley but was no longer present. The property owners put a note on the ladder if he returns.

3:17 p.m.

Deputies were dispatched to Cty. Tk. OO in Hager City for a single motorcycle crash with injuries. The driver drove to Prescott before reporting. Information and photographs were collected.

3:37 p.m.

Suspicious activity was reported on Cty. Tk. K in Ellsworth. 7:07 p.m. A noise complaint was received from the 100 block of W. May Ave. in Elmwood. 7:25 p.m.

A silver car was found parked behind a building in the 400 block of W. Grove St. Contact was made with the driver, who explained he was playing the Pokemon Go game and the water tower was his destination. The driver was valid and clear. 11:55 p.m.

Deputies were dispatched to Hwy. 35 in Bay City for a disorderly subject at a residence. Contact was made with the male involved, who was arrested for Felony Bail Jumping.

32 controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.

November 29 4:02 a.m.

Deputies responded to River Falls near the intersection of 690th St. and Hwy. 29 for a car vs. deer accident. The driver was given self-report information and the car was removed by tow.

Seven controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.
