A driver was stopped on Hwy. 10 in Ellsworth for the Registered Owner showing a suspended Driver’s License. The driver was issued a citation for Operating Without License – 3rd Offense. 2:33 p.m.
Deputies were dispatched to 860th Ave. in River Falls for a female injured on the Kinni River. She was located and transported by EMS.
3:25 p.m.
Deputies attempted to locate a vehicle that fled an accident in Hudson but were unable to locate.
4:10 p.m.
Harassment complaints were taken from an address on 160th Ave. in Maiden Rock.
5:16 p.m.
Deputies responded to Spring Valley near the intersection of Cty. Tk. CC and Hwy. 29 for a motorcycle vs. pickup crash with injury. Interviews were conducted. The driver of the motorcycle was cited for Failure to Yield and Operate Motorcycle w/o Motorcycle License.
Four controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.
September 16 8:30 a.m.
A Deputy was dispatched to 825th St. in Hager City for a female who was being disorderly and reportedly attempted to hit the complainant with her vehicle. The female was located and transported due to an overdose. THC and a stun gun were located in the vehicle.
9:50 a.m.
A Deputy was dispatched with DNR for a subject trespassing on Cty. Tk. K in Hager City. The DNR located the suspect’s vehicle and handled the complaint.
2:37 p.m.
A subject was concerned because a business in the county bought an exhaust system with a catalytic converter. Nothing the subject said was criminal in nature.
6:32 p.m.
A Deputy responded near the intersection of Cty. Tk. F and Cty. Tk. M in River Falls for a one-vehicle accident with no injury.
8:05 p.m.
A Deputy responded to an address on Hwy. 63 in Hager City for a deceased dog in the roadway. The animal had been struck by a vehicle and was removed from the road. The owner was contacted, who stated he would be en route to pick up the dog.
Three controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.
September 17 11:43 a.m.
A caller on Cty. Tk. G in Elmwood reported being harassed and called names on Facebook. The caller was instructed to block the suspect and/or stay off Facebook.
12:41 p.m.
A driver was stopped and cited for speed on Cty. Tk. CC near Hwy. 72 in Elmwood. The driver was stopped and warned the day prior for the same offense.
1:30 p.m.
Information was received of a cow on the road near the intersection of 710th Ave. and 820th Ave. in River Falls. The cow was located on the road and jumped through the fence back in.
2:27 p.m.
Theft was reported from an address on 840th Ave. in River Falls.
7:37 p.m.
Deputies were dispatched to Ellsworth near the intersection of 400th St. and 465th Ave. for a suspicious vehicle, but it was not located.
Six controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.
September 18 8:26 a.m.
Fishing equipment was found on Hwy. 63 in Ellsworth and returned to its’ owner.
12:43 p.m.
A Deputy was dispatched to an address on 150th Ave. in Bay City for a suspicious S-10 pickup with no front grill that was claiming to have a flat tire. Several locations were checked in the area, but the vehicle was not located.
6:53 p.m.
Deputies responded to the 300 block of N. Maple St. in Ellsworth for a truck gathering. They were advised to have a permit before entering. Everybody left without incident.
8:31 p.m.
A man was located on the side of Cty. Tk. E. near Hwy. 35 and given a ride to Prescott.
8:52 p.m.
A driver was stopped near the intersection of Hwy. 35 and Hwy. 63 in Hager City for a blue light visible under the vehicle. The driver was cited for Operating W/o License – 1st Offense. 9:09 p.m.
Deputies were requested to respond to an address on 530th Ave. in Beldenville for an animal complaint. The complainant stated there were two horses loose near the roadway. Contact was made with the owner and they were returned.
Nine controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.
September 19 12:38 a.m.
Deputies responded to the 100 block of S. Main St. in River Falls to assist RFPD with a disorderly subject.
2:49 a.m.
A driver was stopped on Cemetery Rd. near Hwy. 29 in River Falls for no headlights on during darkness. The driver was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated/PAC – 1st Offense.
3:48 a.m.
A driver was stopped for speed on Cty. Tk. V near 730th St. The driver was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated – 1st Offense.
8:26 a.m.
Tree limbs were removed from the roadway on Hwy. 10 near Dexter St. in Prescott.
12:59 p.m.
Suspicious activity was reported after a call was received from Elmwood near the intersection of 170th St. and 490th Ave. The caller believed people were possibly putting evasive things into a creek near the intersection. Contact was made with individuals who were panning for gold and not putting anything into the river.
2:54 p.m.
A driver was stopped and cited for speed on 320th Ave. near Hwy. 35 in Hager City. A parent was contacted by phone.
6:28 p.m.
A Deputy attempted to stop a group of motorcycles on Hwy. 35 near 570th St. in Bay City and one motorcycle took off. That bike was stopped and cited for speed and passing in a no passing zone.
6:44 p.m.
A Deputy responded to Prescott near the intersection of 1090th St. and Cty. Tk. QQ for a single motorcycle crash with multiple injuries. One patient was flown by air ambulance and the other was transported by ground ambulance with undetermined injuries. The crash was handled by Wisconsin State Patrol. 6:51 p.m.
Deputies were notified of a disorderly subject at an address on Hwy. 35 in Maiden Rock. A Deputy arrived and spoke with the male suspect, who was aggressive and intoxicated. The subject was given a ride to a hotel.
8:37 p.m.
Deputies were dispatched to Hwy. 10 in Prescott for a fireworks complaint, but the fireworks stopped prior to arrival. 10:32 p.m.
A complainant stated that his girlfriend got grabbed on the neck and was trying to get put in a van on 825th St. in Hager City. The complainant stopped them from taking his girlfriend into the van. Information was passed on to Goodhue County after the van went into Minnesota.
21 controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.
September 20 2:38 a.m.
A Deputy responded to an address on Cty. Tk. C in Bay City for a suspicious vehicle sitting in the complainant’s driveway. The vehicle left prior to their arrival and was not located in the area.
3:12 p.m.
A piece of metal was removed from the roadway near the intersection of Cty. Tk. CC and Hwy. 72 in Elmwood. 3:30 p.m.
A suspicious vehicle was reported on 1170th St. in Prescott with no one around. The vehicle was towed due to roadway safety concern. 7:00 p.m.
Contact was attempted with a subject on Pine St. in Bay City regarding an ongoing suspicious activity complaint. Voicemails were left with the subject. 9:23 p.m.
A driver was stopped and cited for speed on Cty. Tk. F near Hwy. 29. The driver’s parents were notified.
Three controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.
September 21 1:06 a.m.
A suspicious person was reported on Cty. Tk. D in Ellsworth.
6:18 a.m.
A Deputy was called to the 100 block of Broad St. in Prescott to assist PPD clearing the location for suspects of a burglary.
10:06 a.m.
A caller on 650th St. in River Falls had questions regarding noise ordinances. The complainant said their neighbors are shooting their guns 24/7. They have been talked to by the caller, but reportedly continue to shoot all day every day. The caller was directed to his Town Chairman as well as the County Board representatives for his district. The Deputy offered to speak with the suspects, but the complainant said it was not needed at that time.
12:19 p.m.
Deputies were dispatched to Hager City near the intersection of 750th St. and Cty. Tk. V for what appeared to be a biohazard suit on the side of the road with blood on it. The item appeared to be used for butchering animals and was disposed of in the dumpster at the Sheriff’s Office.
12:20 p.m.
Theft was reported after a caller stated their license plates had been stolen while parked on Cty. Rd. K on the 16th. The plates were entered as stolen.
1:53 p.m.
A K9 sniff was performed on a vehicle in the Sheriff’s Office lot in the 500 block of W. Overlook Dr. in Ellsworth.
2:41 p.m.
A complainant on 720th St. in Beldenville had questions about deer being dumped on their property. They said it happens every year during deer hunting and wanted authorities to be aware. The complainant was advised that the information would be passed along to the DNR.
5:35 p.m.
A complainant on 820th St. in River Falls reported their dog got shot twice that morning. It was unknown who did it. Evidence was gathered.
7:02 p.m.
Deputies responded to Hwy. 35 in Bay City for a gas drive-off. The area was checked for the vehicle, but it was not located.
7:17 p.m.
A Deputy was requested to speak with a homeowner on Cty. Tk. D in Ellsworth who stated he had water coming up from the ground in his yard and wanted to know what to do. It was suggested that he call a plumber. He stated he would call the County the following day to see if he could get answers.
Four controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.
September 22 10:26 a.m.
A Deputy was dispatched to Maiden Rock near the intersection of 150th Ave. and Cty. Tk. CC for a report of damage to a corn field. Photos and information were collected. No suspects at this time.
6:21 p.m.
Deputies were requested to respond to a business on Hwy. 10 in Ellsworth for a report of an unwanted and disorderly subject. Upon arrival, the suspect was calm and talking to the owner about civil disagreements over job termination. The two parties worked out the situation and left without issues.
7:47 p.m.
A Deputy was requested to speak with a subject about threats or harassment made over a neighbor dispute in the 400 block of 1st St. in Plum City. Both parties were spoken to over the phone, who stated an incident happened while one of them was mowing lawn.
9:22 p.m.
A Deputy was dispatched to Prescott near the intersection of 468th Ave. and Hwy. 35 for political signs that were believed to be in the road right-of-way. The signs did not present an obvious traffic hazard when checked. Two of the three signs were likely in the right of way, and the other may have been. Information was relayed to the Highway Department.
9:49 p.m.
A trash can was removed from the roadway near the intersection of 870th St. and Hwy. 10 in Ellsworth.
10:22 p.m.
River Falls PD was assisted with a disorderly subject in the 300 block of Main St.
Four controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.
September 23 5:59 a.m.
A grey Saturn sedan parked at the rest stop on Hwy. 35 in Bay City was checked on. Contact was made with the female Registered Owner, who was inside the vehicle. THC was located and she received a citation. See report for further details. 9:41 a.m.
A Deputy was dispatched to an address on 610th Ave. in Elmwood for a fraud complaint. The complainant stated someone used his Social Security number to receive benefits.
12:25 p.m.
A Deputy was dispatched for two juveniles riding recklessly on non-ATV routes and without helmets on 840th St. in Hager City. Contact was made with both juveniles and the parents of the juveniles.
2:05 p.m.
A fraud complaint was taken in the lobby of the Sheriff’s office.
7:52 p.m.
A male subject that turned himself in for a warrant was walked to the Jail.

September 24 2:07 a.m.
A Deputy responded to a report of a suspicious person on Hwy. 10 in Ellsworth. The male was given a ride to a location outside of Prescott.
7:41 a.m.
St. Croix Sheriff’s Office assisted Pierce County Sheriff’s Office in a warrant pickup. The subject was transported to the PCSO Jail.
10:06 a.m.
A Deputy was requested to respond to an address in the 100 block of N. Birch St. in Elmwood and assisted the female homeowner up off the floor and into her wheelchair. The female said she was not injured and did not need EMS.
11:43 a.m.
A Deputy responded to an address in the 100 block of S. Scott St. in Elmwood for a fraud complaint. It was learned that no funds were actually taken.
