4:50 a.m.

Dispatch received a report of water over the road on Cty. Hwy. QQ near Hwy. 29. The water rescinded back to the shoulder.

5:47 a.m.

Trees were cleared from the roadway on Cty. Hwy. O near Hwy. 65.

5:54 a.m.

Deputies were dispatched to 950th St. in River Falls for a family stuck in a flooding house. The water went down and they were able to get out prior to the airboat arriving.

8:35 a.m.

A freezer floating in the flooding was caught on a bridge on 850th St. just south of Hwy. 29 in River Falls.

2:16 p.m.

A deputy responded to an address on Cty. Hwy. U in Plum City for a report of a burglary. The complainant stated that it happened sometime in the previous couple of days. Photos and information were collected.

3:15 p.m.

A deputy was dispatched to Hwy. 10 in Prescott for a subject that stated he was robbed by the side of the highway. The complainant stated a red vehicle with two males cut him off and stole his wallet. Information was collected.

3:59 p.m.

An unoccupied pickup and trailer with expired registration parked alongside a vacant property were noticed on Cty. Hwy. BB in Spring Valley. The property was checked and someone was moving property around. The suspicious subject was detained and questioned.

5:02 p.m.

A deputy was dispatched to Beldenville for a tree blocking Cty. Hwy. N. Several good Samaritans assisted the deputy in moving the tree from the roadway prior to the Highway Department’s arrival. 6:05 p.m.

A deputy spoke with a complainant in Plum City who advised he received a message from a third party saying that he was going to be in a world of hurt if he kept harassing him. The complainant advised that he wasn’t harassing anyone and wanted to inform law enforcement in case there had been a complaint about him.

6:59 p.m.

A deputy checked on a suspicious vehicle parked at Tabor Church in Bay City. The owner/driver was not able to be located.

8:54 p.m.

Extra patrol was requested in the Town of Martell. 9:35 p.m.

Subjects were taking video of the PCSO in the 500 block of W. Overlook Dr. in Ellsworth.

Two controlled burns were called in. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.

June 30 2:38 a.m.

A deputy responded to 742nd Ave. in River Falls for two intoxicated subjects that were having a verbal argument. Deputies were able to mediate the situation. 4:41 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to 945th St. in River Falls for a suspicious male. He was located walking nude around the neighborhood and admitted to entering unlocked buildings without consent.

4:49 a.m.

A deputy was dispatched near the intersection of 530th Ave. near Cty. Hwy. S in Elmwood for a wounded deer that was in the roadway. The deer was located and dispatched.

11:01 a.m.

A deputy was contacted about an internet fraud complaint on 410th St. in Spring Valley. The complainant was trying to buy a dog online and put some money down. The person she was talking to stopped talking to her and deleted their profile after they received the money.

1:59 p.m.

Deputies were requested to respond for a theft at a business on 785th St. in Hager City. The owner stated they knew who it was and would take care of it and did not need PCSO’s help.

4:49 p.m.

A deputy was advised of a driving complaint with a vehicle crossing the center line and fog line on Hwy. 29 near Cty. Hwy. MM in River Falls. The driver admitted to crossing the center line and showed no signs of impairment during contact. The citation was issued by mail.

7:37 p.m.

A vehicle was stopped and warned for speed on Cty. Hwy. QQ near Hwy. 29.

8:08 p.m.

A vehicle was stopped and cited for speed on Cty. Hwy. QQ near Hwy. 29.

One controlled burn was called in. The caller was advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.

July 1 9:23 a.m.

A complainant called regarding a theft of items from a family estate on Hwy. 35 in Hager City.

12:25 p.m.

A deputy was dispatched for a UTV side by side that was stolen from a construction site near the intersection of Hwy. 63 and 825th St. in Hager City.

12:31 p.m.

A deputy was notified of a repossession of a vehicle on Cty. Hwy. OO in Hager City. The subject that had the vehicle allowed the company to reclaim the vehicle without incident.

5:09 p.m.

A deputy was requested to respond to the PCSO lobby for a threat’s complaint. The complainant stated he was receiving threatening voicemails from a private contractor he hired for general labor. After speaking with both parties, the complainant was provided options. The suspect was advised to cease contact.

7:00 p.m.

A subject reported that someone broke into their car on 825th St. in Hager City while they were on a boat. Photographs and evidence were taken from the scene.

7:31 p.m.

Subjects were spoken with on 425th St. in Ellsworth after driving through road closed signs and were notified the area was closed indefinitely.

Two controlled burns were called in. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.

July 2 1:05 p.m.

A subject was spoken to regarding a possible restraining order violation in Hager City.

1:59 p.m.

Several pieces of broken boards were removed from the roadway near the intersection of Hwy. 10 and Hwy. 63 in Ellsworth.

3:47 p.m.

A deputy checked on a male wearing just swim trunks near Hwy. 10 in Maiden Rock who stated his friend left him. Another friend was reached who stated they would pick him up. The subject had water and food.

10:19 p.m.

A deputy was requested to respond to an address on 425th St. in Ellsworth for suspicious activity. Contact was made and the subject was requested to leave the private property.

11:56 p.m.

Two UTV’s were stopped and identified for a noise complaint near the intersection of 425th St. and Cty. Hwy. G in Ellsworth. They stated they had permission from a club owner to be on the property. They were advised the club closed the property and to check with their “guy”.

Six controlled burns were called in. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.

July 3 12:04 a.m.

A deputy was requested to respond to an address on 1094th St. in River Falls for suspicious activity. The complainant stated a female came to her residence and knocked on the door in the middle of the night. Contact was made with the female, who appeared fine. The female was placed under arrest after it was learned she had a felony warrant out of St. Croix County. Custody was transferred to a St. Croix County Deputy.

8:47 a.m.

A caller reported a large pool of blood on the roadway with a flip flop nearby near the intersection of 785th St. and 810th Ave. in River Falls. A deputy observed a pool of blood and a trail into the hayfield and an area where an animal had bedded down, where there was also blood. It was believed that someone poached a deer and dragged it onto the roadway where they dispatched it. The caller said the pool of blood was noticed the previous night around 8p.m. The property owner was spoken to and advised nothing was seen or heard the prior night.

12:18 p.m.

A deputy responded to an address on Hwy. 72 in Ellsworth for a possible theft. The complainant stated he had a truck battery stolen from him in the previous two weeks and just noticed that day. Photos were taken and information was gathered.

10:10 p.m.

A motorcycle was stopped for speed on Hwy. 29 near Hwy. 63 N. in Spring Valley. The driver admitted to not having a motorcycle endorsement and no insurance on the motorcycle. The citation was mailed.

Seven controlled burns were called in. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.

July 4 9:59 a.m.

Deputies responded to an address on Cty. Hwy. VV in Hager City for a burglary at a business. The complainant stated somebody cut the locks off of their trailers and stole fireworks. Information and evidence were collected and photographs were taken of the scene.

6:04 p.m.

Deputies were requested for extra patrol near the intersection of 130th Ave. and 150th Ave. for large fireworks that were potentially going to be set off that evening.

10:27 p.m.

A deputy was dispatched to 950th St. in River Falls for a fireworks complaint. None were observed, but other were subjects were observed lighting off fireworks and were warned.

10:29 p.m.

Loud music was reported near the intersection of 140th Ave. and 747th St. in Hager City. The homeowner said they would keep the music down.

Ten controlled burns were called in. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.

July 5 12:05 a.m.

Large group of people were located lighting off fireworks in a parking lot on 825th St. in Hager City. They were advised they could not light fireworks at that location.

12:24 p.m.

A deputy was dispatched to 290th Ave. in Hager City for a report of three flowerpots and three light up crosses stolen from gravesites. The complainant stated they were all stolen from his family’s graves. He said he thinks the suspect is his deceased son’s girlfriend, as she had been harassing his family.

3:08 p.m.

Deputies responded to an address on 710th Ave. in Ellsworth to check for a wanted subject. He was located and posted bond online and was given a new court date.

8:26 p.m.

A deputy was dispatched to Cty. Hwy. O in Ellsworth to meet with an elderly female who was possibly lost. Upon making contact, the female was lost and a bit confused. Contact was made with her son, who came to the scene and picked her up.

9:06 p.m.

A deputy responded to an address on Hwy. 29 in River Falls for a controlled burn. The burn was located; it was found that garbage was being burned. The residents were spoken to and they advised they would put out the fire.

Seven controlled burns were called in. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.
