March 22 1:12 a.m.
Prescott PD reported that an officer was nearly hit head on by an oncoming vehicle traveling on Hwy. 10 near Cty. Rd. O. The driver was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated.
1:53 a.m.
A vehicle was observed in a parking lot on Hwy. 10 near Ellsworth. The driver stated they were traveling a far distance and wanted to stop to sleep for a little bit.
2:35 a.m.
Deputies responded to Ellsworth near the intersection of 480th Ave. and 840th Ave. for a vehicle that hit the power pole support lines. The vehicle was towed due to damage. 4:26 a.m.
An unwanted subject was reported in Hager City at an address on Hwy. 35.
8:28 a.m.
A disabled farm vehicle was reported on 170th Ave. in Hager City. Dispatch left a message for a possible owner.
10:04 a.m.
Deputies responded to Ellsworth near the intersection of 690th Ave. and Cty. Tk. V. for a report of cattle in the roadway. The owner’s son arrived and assisted getting them back into the pasture.
10:53 a.m.
Information was taken from a caller about weird activity in the area of Cty. Tk. KK in Ellsworth. The information was passed onto investigators.
11:31 a.m.
A business check was reportedly fraudulently altered after being mailed and cashed in Chicago. 11:42 a.m.
A K9 search was performed in the area of 530th St. and Hwy. 72 in Ellsworth. Nothing was found.
6:06 p.m.
A cell phone was reported to have been found near the intersection of 490th St. and Hwy. 63 in Ellsworth.
March 23 3:08 a.m.
An abandoned vehicle was located in the middle of the road near the intersection of 610th St. and Hwy. 10 in Ellsworth. Contact was attempted with the registered owner but unsuccessful. The vehicle was removed.
5:01 a.m.
Deputies were called to the 200 block of E. Springer Ave. in Elmwood for a male passed out by a rear entry. The male was located and taken into custody after he was found to have felony warrants.
5:34 a.m.
Theft and damage to property were reported on Main St. in Bay City.
6:45 a.m.
Deputies were called to the intersection of Cty. Tk. BB and Hwy. 72 in Ellsworth for a car vs. deer crash. The vehicle was disabled, blocking traffic. The vehicle was towed.
7:49 a.m.
Deputies were dispatched to an address on 610th St. in Ellsworth for a report of suspicious activity after a male was found to be sleeping under a hay trailer. The male appeared to have overdosed and was administered Narcan before being transported by EMS.
10:22 a.m.
Phone contact was made with a complainant on Cty. Tk. Y in River Falls who reported his truck was keyed or scratched between the dates of February 22nd and March 22nd. The incident reportedly occurred in either Hudson, River Falls or Baldwin.
1:00 p.m.
A burglary was investigated after a shotgun was reported stolen from an address on Hwy. 35 in Bay City.
6:41 p.m.
A gas drive-off was reported on 785th St. in Hager City for a subject that paid for his items in the store, but not his fuel. The vehicle was later located in Minnesota and found to be stolen.
7:03 p.m.
A car vs. turkey accident was reported near the intersection of 110th St. and Cty. Tk. S in Elmwood.
March 24 10:19 p.m.
Deputies were dispatched to Hager City near the intersection of 320th Ave. and Hwy. 35 for a driving complaint. The vehicle was located, and contact was made with the driver, who was already in bed. The driver was given a verbal warning not to drive in the future.
March 25 8:58 a.m.
Deputies assisted with traffic control near the intersection of Hwy. 63 and 810th St. S. in Hager City for farm machinery crossing a bridge.
4:22 p.m.
A complainant reported fraud from an address on 150th Ave. in Hager City.
6:47 p.m.
Deputies assisted Prescott PD trying to locate a grey sedan that was possibly involved in an armed robbery on Orange St. in Prescott. Deputies were not able to locate the vehicle after it was determined to have gone into Minnesota.
7:31 p.m.
A complaint of possible disorderly conduct was received from a business on 785th St. in Hager City. The caller just requested the subject be given a trespass warning. Phone contact was made with the suspect, who admitted to being upset while at the location. He was advised he is not to be on the property again.
7:36 p.m.
A driver was cited for speeding after being stopped near the intersection of Cty. Tk. F and Cty. Tk. FF in River Falls.
9:41 p.m.
Extra patrol was requested near the intersection of 770th Ave. and Cty. Tk. CC in Spring Valley for trucks doing burnouts.
March 26 8:30 a.m.
A male subject was cited for disorderly conduct for doing burnouts in a complainant’s driveway on 320th St. in Maiden Rock. The suspect aired concerns regarding the way the complainant speaks to his daughter.
9:13 a.m.
A caller on 190th Ave. in Plum City reported that he may have been defrauded regarding a vehicle he purchased. He has reportedly been waiting for the title since January. The out of state dealership was contacted and it was determined to be a civil matter.
11:10 a.m.
A trailer was reported stolen from an address on Hwy. 63 in Baldwin.
11:10 a.m.
A driver was stopped and cited for speed in River Falls near the intersection of 1160th St. and Cty. Tk. M.
1:35 p.m.
A K9 search was requested in the 500 block of W. Overlook Dr.
1:53 p.m.
Deputies responded to the intersection of N. Main St. and Hwy. 35 in River Falls to assist RFPD and DNR who located an armed robbery suspect vehicle. The occupants were taken into custody prior to arrival.
4:53 p.m.
A revoked driver was called in by a citizen near the intersection of 530th St. and 570th St. in Ellsworth. Upon arrival, the driver was already home.
5:50 p.m.
Hudson PD requested assistance with a retail theft complaint in the 2800 block of Prairie Dr. in River Falls.
9:57 p.m.
Deputies were requested to check the area of 560th Ave. in Prescott for a subject knocking on a door at a residence.
March 27 7:04 a.m.
Two missing blue tick hounds were reported from an address on Hwy. 72 in Elmwood.
8:54 a.m.
A report was received of an intoxicated male walking down Hwy. 65 in River Falls. RFPD advised it may be a local handicapped resident who walks for rehabilitation. The complaint was unfounded.
10:40 a.m.
A caller reported vandalism to their car parked in their driveway on 170th St. in Elmwood. 10:41 a.m.
Deputies were called to the area of 770th St. and Cty. Tk. F in River Falls for a vehicle reported to be driving all over the road. Prescott PD located and attempted to stop the vehicle that eventually crashed before the driver was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated – 2nd Offense.
11:40 a.m.
The Township of Ellsworth reported the theft of stop signs/posts and street signs in the previous few weeks. 4:53 p.m.
Deputies responded to 810th Ave. in River Falls for a garbage complaint. Contact was made after the suspect vehicle was located. The driver was determined to be under the influence of drugs and placed under arrest. The passenger was cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
5:11 p.m. A report of fraud was received from a subject on 370th Ave. in Ellsworth. 7:42 p.m.
Dispatch received a report of a male subject driving with a revoked license while out on bond that cannot drive per his bond conditions. The male subject was located on 530th St. in Ellsworth and arrested for Felony bail jumping, Operating After Revocation, Possession of Methamphetamine and Failure to Install Ignition Interlock Device.
March 28 6:06 a.m.
A driver was stopped and cited for speed on 760th Ave. near Hwy. 65 in River Falls.
11:57 a.m.
A complainant on Cty. Tk. G in Elmwood reported that someone entered the ditch on their property, hit the culvert under the driveway on both sides and fled the scene. A headlight assembly was found on the scene.
1:55 p.m.
A driver was cited for speed after being stopped in River Falls near the intersection of Hwy. 29 and Cty. Tk. E. 3:10 p.m.
The highway department was assisted with a large oak tree across the road on Cty. Tk. AA in Stockholm. 9:31 p.m.
A pending gas drive-off was reported from a business on 785th St. in Hager City.
9:40 p.m.
Deputies were dispatched to 1323rd St. in Prescott for a suspicious vehicle parked on the road. The vehicle was gone upon arrival.
