March 15 7:35 a.m.
A caller reported trespassing in Ellsworth near the intersection of 570th Ave. and Cty. Tk. O. The people were trespassing while trying to look at a land-locked property nearby. The realtor attempted to instruct them to wait and be shown the correct way in, but they were back on the property when he showed up.
11:36 a.m.
A disabled semi was checked on at the top of the Hager Hill in Hager City on Hwy. 63. The vehicle had a flat tire and the subject had help coming.
1:51 p.m.
Trespassing was reported at an address on Hwy. 72 in Elmwood.
2:28 p.m.
A suspicious activity complaint was received at an address on 570th Ave. in Ellsworth. A vehicle with two occupants pulled into the complainant’s neighbor’s driveway and switched drivers. The residence was checked, and the homeowners were home.
4:01 p.m.
A vehicle slide-in with damage was reported in Spring Valley near the intersection of Cty. Tk. B and Hwy. 29. 4:02 p.m.
Deputies were called to River Falls near the intersection of Hwy. 65 and 820th St. A truck was passing a semi on a snow-covered road and lost control before the vehicle entered the ditch and rolled over. There was no injury. 4:57 p.m. A car vs. power pole accident was reported with no injuries near the intersection of 870th Ave. and Cty. Tk. W in River Falls.
5:01 p.m.
A vehicle slide-in was reported near the intersection of 690th Ave. and Hwy. 63 in Beldenville. There were no injuries or damage.
5:50 p.m.
A single-vehicle rollover accident was reported in Prescott near the intersection of Cty. Tk. QQ and Hwy. 35. The driver was checked out and refused EMS on scene.
6:00 p.m.
Deputies were contacted for an accident with property damage near an address on Hwy. 128 in Elmwood.
7:38 p.m.
A deputy was flagged down at a gas station in Spring Valley to report a car vs. deer accident that occurred on Cty. Tk. CC. The driver had minor damage to the front passenger quarter panel and requested a report.
8:42 p.m.
Threats were reported and an extra patrol was requested at an address in Spring Valley.
March 16 2:30 a.m.
A vehicle was removed from the ditch after it slid in near the intersection of 190th Ave. and Cty. Tk. S in Maiden Rock. No damage or injuries were reported.
3:30 a.m.
A suspicious person was investigated near an address on Cty. Tk. VV in Hager City. The subject reported to be in the process of moving and his story checked out.
11:19 a.m.
A DNR Warden was assisted with making contact with two subjects that had been parked in the park all morning on 820th Ave. in River Falls. Both subjects admitted they were homeless and came to the park to sleep. The subjects were advised to leave the park.
6:45 p.m.
A deputy was dispatched to an address on Market St. in Bay City after a threat’s complaint was received. After meeting with both parties for some time, they both accused each other of wrongdoings. They were advised not to trespass or make threats and to avoid confrontation in the future.
11:54 p.m.
A damaged guardrail was located near the intersection of 790th St. and Hwy. 29 in River Falls. A vehicle was located down the embankment and the driver was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated – 2nd Offense.
March 17 12:09 a.m.
A vehicle was stopped for a defective tail lamp near the intersection of 825th St. and Hwy. 63 in Hager City. The passenger had several warrants which the jail would not accept. The passenger was issued a notice to appear for warrants form. The driver was warned.
2:24 a.m.
Subjects were reported to be walking around someone’s property at an address on Cty. Tk. K in Hager City. The subjects were gone upon arrival but foot tracks in the snow showed the subjects walked around a vehicle on the property but did not approach the residence. 6:55 a.m.
A caller’s vehicle was disabled after hitting a deer near the intersection of 920th St. and Hwy. 65 in River Falls. Upon arrival, the deer was dispatched.
8:18 a.m.
An injured deer was dispatched after being reported near the intersection of 160th Ave. and 310th St. in Maiden Rock.
8:16 p.m.
A driver was given a verbal warning after an anonymous complaint reported the driver to be driving inattentively near the intersection of Cty. Tk. CC and Hwy. 10 in Maiden Rock.
March 18 6:38 a.m.
A vehicle theft was reported on Hwy. 35 in Hager City. 6:59 a.m.
A vehicle ran out of gas in the lane of traffic near the intersection of Cty. Tk. AA and Hwy. 35 in Stockholm. The vehicle was removed prior to arrival.
8:01 a.m.
Damage to property was reported in Ellsworth on Cty. Tk. G after a complainant reported a vehicle hit their recycling can and dented their
mailbox. 6:39 p.m.
A deputy was dispatched to an address on 590th St. in Bay City for a dog that had bitten cattle. The town chair was contacted.
7:34 p.m.
Deputies were dispatched to the area of Cty. Tk. EE in Bay City for a reported suspicious vehicle. 10:20 p.m. A suspicious vehicle was investigated near Hwy. 35 in Hager City. A note was left on the windshield that the vehicle would be towed the following day.
March 19 12:03 a.m.
A car vs. deer accident was reported on Hwy. 63 in Ellsworth. The vehicle was not damaged, and the deer was dispatched.
1:11 p.m.
Deputies were dispatched to Prescott near the intersection of 570th Ave. and Cty. Tk. QQ in Prescott. The driver swerved to miss three deer and went into the ditch.
March 20 12:46 a.m.
UWRF Police were assisted as needed in the 1200 block of S. Main St. in River Falls.
2:42 a.m.
An unwanted intoxicated person was reported at an address on Cty. Tk. DD in Bay City. The subject was given a ride back to his residence.
8:33 a.m.
A caller reported a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed near the intersection of 690th Ave. and Hwy. 63 in Beldenville.
9:11 a.m.
A driver was stopped near the intersection of Ida St. and Main St. in Ellsworth for failure to stop for a stop sign, failure to signal a turn and no working lights on a trailer. The driver was issued a citation for failure to stop at a stop sign.
3:27 p.m.
A complainant reported they heard shooting after they had seen a black colored truck slowly drive by their residence on Cty. Tk. N in Beldenville. The shooting was found to be their neighbor’s shooting clay pigeons.
6:23 p.m.
Deputies were dispatched to 170th Ave. in Hager City for a report of burglary. A boat and fishing items were reported stolen from a locked storage unit.
8:03 p.m.
Deputies were dispatched to Prescott near the intersection of 1160th St. and Hwy. 35 for a report of vehicles possibly drag racing. The area was checked but no suspicious vehicles were located.
March 21 12:50 a.m.
A vehicle was located in a parking lot without a permit on 825th St. in Hager City. The subject was advised of the permit and informed not to drive. 7:14 a.m.
A tree blocking both lanes of traffic on Cty. Tk. OO in Hager City was removed.
4:11 p.m.
A one-vehicle accident was reported in River Falls near the intersection of 1250th St. and 770th Ave. The driver was not on scene. The vehicle was towed.
9:37 p.m.
A driver was stopped for speed near the intersection of Cty. Tk. QQ and Hwy. 29 in Prescott. The driver was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated – 2nd Offense after a sobriety test was conducted. A search warrant was completed after the driver was disorderly at the hospital.
