February 22 12:13 a.m.
A suspicious vehicle was observed parked at a storage unit near the intersection of Hwy. 63 and Cty. Tk. VV.
6:28 a.m.
A vehicle was reported to have sustained damage going into the ditch in Maiden Rock near the intersection of 290th St. and Cty. Tk. S. The vehicle was pulled out prior to contact with Law Enforcement. The driver was warned for failure to report the accident. The tow company was contacted and warned for towing the vehicle prior to Law Enforcement notification.
8:15 a.m.
A subject in Plum City was spoken with about a missing firearm they own.
1:39 p.m.
A deer was struck on Hwy. 72 in Ellsworth. State Patrol was in the area and dispatched the deer.
2:22 p.m.
A vehicle was stopped for no plates near the intersection of 220th St. and Hwy. 10 in Maiden Rock. The driver was warned for having marijuana shake in the vehicle.
3:44 p.m.
A complaint was received from River Falls that someone gave large sums of money to someone with a fraudulent story.
4:03 p.m.
A complainant stated there were two vehicles traveling down the road close together and one was driving down the middle of the road near the intersection of 850th Ave. and Cty. Tk. BB in Spring Valley. The area was checked, and the vehicles were not located. 5:02 p.m. Deputies were requested to respond to an address on 770th Ave. in River Falls for a theft complaint. The complainant stated his front license plate had been stolen. Information was collected.
5:43 p.m.
A two-vehicle crash with no injuries or road blockage was reported near the intersection of 820th Ave. and Cty. Tk. F in River Falls. The complainant stated his vehicle was sideswiped and hit a guard rail. The other vehicle involved fled the scene. Information and photographs were collected.
February 23 1:00 a.m.
While traveling eastbound on Main St. near Utility St. in Ellsworth, a deputy tried to evade a raccoon but struck it. The raccoon was found and removed from the roadway. There was no damage to the squad car.
6:38 a.m.
A complainant reported their ice fishing shack and heater were stolen off Lake Pepin overnight. There were no suspects.
7:54 a.m.
A one-vehicle crash with no injuries was reported near the intersection of 400th St. and Hwy. 10 in Ellsworth. The driver said he hit black ice and lost control, hitting the guardrail. A green leafy substance was found inside the vehicle.
9:46 a.m.
A driver was stopped for operating left of center in Ellsworth near the intersection of Cty. Tk. C and E. Cty. Tk. V The driver was issued citations for Operating While Revoked Alcohol Related, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
10:14 a.m.
Fishing rods, lures, a heater and a Bluetooth speaker were reported stolen after an ice shack was broken into on the Mississippi River near Maiden Rock.
3:48 p.m.
The area of 650th St. in River Falls was checked for two men reported to be selling cancer insurance door to door. The vehicle or subjects were not located.
3:54 p.m.
A two-vehicle crash was reported in Spring Valley near the intersection of 330th St. and Hwy. 29. Photographs and information were collected.
6:54 p.m.
Burglary was reported from an ice shack that was about 500 yards out from where the dock would be in Maiden Rock.
8:47 p.m.
A low-flying aircraft was reported in Maiden Rock near an address on 450th Ave. The FAA was contacted and provided with the information.
January 24 9:07 a.m.
Deputies were dispatched to the 900 block of Main St. in Plum City for a report of a theft. Upon contact the complainant stated that an iPad and Google Chromebook were returned, but wanted it documented for future incidents.
February 25 12:56 p.m.
Deputies responded to Hager City near the intersection of 301st Ave. and Hwy. 35 for a one-vehicle accident with no injuries.
10:21 p.m.
Deputies were requested to respond to Main St. in Bay City for a beeping noise coming from a generator. Public works responded and believed everything to be normal.
February 26 3:04 a.m.
Deputies were requested to respond to the 200 block of Broad St. in Prescott to assist Prescott PD with a fight. They were cancelled while en route. 9:16 a.m. An unintentional gas drive-off was reported on Hwy. 35 in Bay City. The Registered Owner was contacted by phone. 9:42 a.m. A caller reported a suspicious vehicle lurking in the area of Hwy. 35 in Bay City early in the morning but did not get a license plate. The vehicle was described as older, dented and gray with a loud muffler.
8:36 p.m.
Deputies were requested to assist River Falls PD with locating a vehicle that fled from a crash in the 1100 block of S. Main St. The area was checked, and contact was attempted with the registered owners at their home.
February 27 12:01 a.m.
Ellsworth PD was assisted with a suspicious silver vehicle driving around the cemetery in the 200 block of N. Wallace St. Contact was made with a subject who reported to be driving around looking for lost money.
9:24 a.m.
A car vs. tree accident with no injury was reported in Beldenville on 690th St. near Cty. Tk. J.
1:45 p.m.
Two drivers were stopped and cited for speed in Hager City near the intersection of 1005th St. and Hwy. 35.
3:42 p.m.
A report of burglary was taken on 170th St. in Elmwood. Multiple items were reported missing and evidence was collected.
7:43 p.m.
The township requested a controlled burn be extinguished after they learned it contained an old structure at an address on Cty. Tk. S in Plum City. Fire crews responded and a deputy assisted on scene with keeping the peace due to an upset property owner.
10:10 p.m.
A driver was cited for speed after being stopped on Hwy. 65 near 690th Ave. in River Falls.
February 28 9:02 a.m.
A driver was stopped near the intersection of 1170th St. and Hwy. 10 in Prescott and warned for following too close and failure to illuminate headlights in inclement weather.
3:23 p.m.
A driver was cited for speed after being stopped on Cty. Tk. A near Hwy. 10 in Ellsworth.
