February 1 3:07 a.m.

Ellsworth PD was assisted with clearing a building in the 300 block of Hillcrest St.

11:40 a.m.

The owner of two dogs was assisted getting his dogs out of the highway near the intersection of 965th St. and Hwy. 10 in Hager City. 1:45 p.m.

Information was gathered of a possible fraud on Hwy. 10 in Ellsworth.

2:20 p.m.

Subjects were met with about a possible fraud on Hwy. 65 in River Falls. 2:30 p.m.

Red Wing PD was assisted on 250th Ave. in Bay City.

10:34 p.m.

Deputies responded to the 300 block of N. Main St. in River Falls to assist River Falls PD with an unwanted subject. The male was given numerous opportunities for a ride to a warm location and refused all Law Enforcement assistance.

February 2 12:57 a.m.

Deputies were requested to assist with a possible house explosion/fire in the 400 block of River Hills Rd. S. in River Falls. Deputies assisted with traffic control.

6:08 a.m.

A theft complaint was received from Hwy. 63 in Hager City.

4:16 p.m.

A two-vehicle accident that occurred on private property was reported on Cty. Tk. A in Maiden Rock.

9:35 p.m.

A vehicle that swerved to miss a deer was located in the ditch near the intersection of Cty. Tk. QQ and Hwy. 35 in Prescott. The driver stated he was not injured.

1:11 a.m.

A driver was stopped for speed and a defective exhaust on Hwy. 63 near 825th St. S. in Hager City. The driver was unable to provide proof of valid insurance and received verbal warnings for the violations.

6:03 a.m.

Spring Valley PD was assisted with a rollover accident on Hwy. 29 in Spring Valley.

7:23 a.m.

A driver observed speeding in Hager City near the intersection of 1005th St. and Hwy. 35 was issued a citation for speed. 2:13 p.m.

A cow out of the fence on Cty. TK. DD near Hwy. 72 in Ellsworth was put back into the fenced area.

4:32 p.m.

A subject reported finding drugs while cleaning out a rental property on 370th Ave. in Ellsworth.

10:03 p.m.

A vehicle was stopped for speed in River Falls near the intersection of Hwy. 29 and Cty. Tk. E. The driver was issued a citation for Speed and Drug Paraphernalia.

February 4 4:27 a.m.

A suspicious truck was checked on in the Maiden Rock Park near the intersection of Cty. Tk. A and Hwy. 35. Contact was made with a city worker who was releasing water from a hydrant.

February 5 1:09 p.m.

A complainant reported their vehicle’s back window was broken. It appeared to have broken due to cold weather or a falling object.

9:20 p.m.

A Deputy drove past a vehicle with its’ lights on near the intersection of Dailey Pl. and Dawes Pl. in River Falls. Once the squad car drove past the occupied vehicle, it immediately drove into a driveway and parked. Contact was made with the driver of the vehicle with no plates. The smell of marijuana was coming from the vehicle. Both occupants were in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia and received citations by mail.

February 6 10:45 a.m.

A one-vehicle rollover accident was reported in Elmwood near the intersection of 350th Ave. and Cty. Tk. P. The vehicle was removed and there was not enough damage to make it a reportable accident.

February 7 5:23 a.m.

Deputies were dispatched to 757th Ave. in River Falls after a report that it sounded like someone was in the complainant’s house. The house was checked, and no signs of forced entry were found. There were no prints in the snow, and no one was inside the house.

10:46 a.m.

A vehicle was reported in the ditch in Maiden Rock near the intersection of 290th St. and Cty. Tk. S.

1:02 p.m.

A driving complaint was received from Prescott near the intersection of 468th Ave. and Hwy. 35.

6:14 p.m.

A vehicle was stopped in the 400 block of E. Wall St. in Ellsworth for unnecessary acceleration and for completing a burnout on icy/snowy roads twice. The driver was issued a citation for Unnecessary and Annoying Noise and warned for operating with no seat belt.

7:52 p.m.

Deputies responded to River Falls near the intersection of N. Main St. and Hwy. 35. The vehicle in question was not located.
