January 11 6:33 a.m.
Theft of a generator from a vehicle was reported to have happened the previous weekend on 635th St. in Ellsworth.
7:44 a.m.
A driver was stopped and cited for speed near the intersection of 1200th St. and Hwy. 35 in Prescott.
8:20 a.m.
A vehicle on the side of the road near the intersection of Cty. Tk. C and Hwy. 35 in Bay City was found to have a tow truck on the way.
10:45 a.m.
A driver was stopped and cited for speed on 900th St. near Hwy. 29 in River Falls.
1:02 p.m.
A fraudulent scam call was reported from an address on Hwy. 63 in Spring Valley.
1:41 p.m.
A dead squirrel was reportedly found in the complainant’s mailbox on 650th Ave. in Spring Valley. The complainant reported that it was maybe politically motivated and for the information to be documented.
2:18 p.m.
A package belonging to a subject in Ellsworth was found on 650th St. in Bay City.
2:34 p.m.
Deputies assisted with traffic control for a crash in the 200 block of N. Maple St. in Ellsworth. 4:26 p.m.
Prescott PD was assisted with a search warrant in the 700 block of Borner St.
10 controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.
January 12 3:40 a.m.
Threats were reported from an address on 410th St. in Spring Valley. The male complainant met a female in a chat room and sent her photographs after she requested them. She then requested he send her money, otherwise she would post the photographs. The male was advised to contact the service providers he was using to contact her to report the scam. 4:12 a.m.
A vehicle with no front plate was observed on Hwy. 35 in Bay City and a search of the vehicle was conducted. Methamphetamine, paraphernalia and possibly stolen items were found. Both parties were released to a valid driver after a citation was issued and explained.
6:19 a.m.
A driver was stopped near the intersection of 790th St. and Hwy. 65 in Beldenville and issued a citation for speeding.
7:07 a.m.
A driver was stopped near the intersection of Hwy. 10 and Hwy. 63 in Ellsworth and cited for speed. 9:20 a.m.
A driver was stopped on Cty. Tk. G near Hwy. 63 in Beldenville and issued a citation for speed.
11:05 a.m.
Drug paraphernalia was reported found by a landlord cleaning out a property on 370th Ave. in Ellsworth.
3:56 p.m.
Near the intersection of 830th St. and Cty. Tk. K in Hager City, a vehicle was pulled over for operating left of center, the registered owner being revoked and failure to stop. The driver was arrested for a probation hold, Operating After Revocation – Alcohol Related and Felony Bail Jumping.
5:22 p.m.
A car vs. deer accident was responded to on Hwy. 35 in Bay City.
Seven controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.
January 13 1:05 a.m.
River Falls PD was assisted with a crash near the intersection of Second St. and Walnut St. in River Falls.
2:53 a.m.
A deer located in the roadway near the intersection of Cty. Tk. E and Hwy. 35 in Prescott was pulled off the roadway. 8:28 a.m. A black lab type dog was found in Beldenville near the intersection of 690th St. and 770th Ave.
9:22 a.m.
A burglary investigation was conducted on 170th Ave. in Hager City.
11:31 a.m.
A complainant on 840th Ave. in River Falls reported their PayPal account and credit card account were hacked and they were working with the companies to secure the accounts.
1:07 p.m.
A suspicious person was reported on 40th St. in Plum
City. 3:20 p.m.
Deputies were dispatched to an address on Hwy. 35 in Hager City for a suspicious vehicle. The driver was arrested for burglary. Among the items stolen from the property were a truck and pontoon.
8:53 p.m.
A driver was stopped near the intersection of 170th Ave. and Cty. Tk. D in Bay City and cited for speed.
13 controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.
January 14 10:43 a.m.
Fraud was reported after the complainant stated that somebody tried to use their personal information to collect unemployment.
11:13 a.m.
Fraudulent checks deposited from a mobile application were reported from Hwy. 63 in Hager City.
2:04 p.m.
A complainant reported a damaged passenger window that appeared to have been thrown up by a vehicle traveling the opposite direction near the intersection of Cty. Tk. O and 640th Ave. in Ellsworth.
5:29 p.m.
A vehicle was located operating left of center after Deputies responded for a driving complaint. The driver was cited for operating left of center after being stopped near the intersection of Hwy. 63 and 825th St. in Hager City. 6:30 p.m. Deputies responded to Cty. Tk. M in River Falls for a vehicle rollover.
7:55 p.m.
Deputies responded to the intersection of Hwy. 65 and Cty. Tk. W in River Falls for a vehicle in the ditch with no damage. Drug items were observed in the vehicle and a search was conducted. The driver was cited for Possession of THC.
10:08 p.m.
Deputies responded to the intersection of Cty. Tk. F and Cty. Tk. FF in River Falls for a semi stuck near the intersection. The Highway Department was called to lay down sand/salt. The driver was able to remove the vehicle.
Six controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.
January 15 12:27 a.m.
Deputies responded to Prescott near the intersection of Cty. Tk. F and Hwy. 29 for a one vehicle rollover accident without injury. The driver was cited for driving too fast for conditions and failing to maintain control.
9:24 a.m.
A broken-down semi was removed near the intersection of Cty. Tk. F and Cty. Tk. FF in River Falls.
1:50 p.m.
River Falls PD was assisted on a stop near the intersection of Cemetery Rd. and Hwy. 29 in River Falls.
5:51 p.m.
Deputies responded near the intersection of Cty. Tk. J and Hwy. 65 in Beldenville for an abandoned vehicle and a male walking away from the vehicle. Contact was made with the driver, and he was escorted back to his vehicle. The vehicle was removed, and the driver was issued a citation for Possession of THC.
6:37 p.m.
A vehicle was observed failing to yield to a stop sign near the intersection of 825th St. and 831st St. in Hager City. The driver stated he was checking out the new road and did not notice the sign. The driver was warned for failure to yield to a stop sign.
10:59 p.m.
A vehicle was observed with no front license plate near the intersection of 510th St. and Hwy. 10 in Ellsworth. The driver was arrested for a warrant and given a citation for Operating without a License.
20 accidents with no injury were reported.
Two controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.
January 16 6:16 a.m.
A driver was stopped and cited for speed on 770th Ave. in River Falls.
8:44 a.m.
Deputies responded to an address on Hwy. 35 in Hager City for a suspicious vehicle that pulled into an abandoned property. The vehicle was located approximately one hour later, and the driver was identified. Nothing was taken during the incident.
8:47 a.m.
A car in the ditch was assisted near the intersection of Cty. Tk. QQ and Hwy. 35 in Prescott.
11:28 a.m.
A driver was stopped and issued a citation for speed in Hager City near the intersection of 1005th St. and Hwy. 35.
11:45 a.m.
A driver was issued a citation for speed after being stopped near the intersection of 1005th St. and Hwy. 35 in Hager City.
11:56 a.m.
A driver was stopped for squealing their tires as they were leaving a traffic stop near the intersection of 301st Ave. and Hwy. 35 in Hager City. The driver was warned for the violation.
12:00 p.m.
Two males taking sand from the sand pile were observed at the highway shop on Cty. Tk. OO in Hager City. The highway department supervisor was contacted, and he wished for the persons to be informed they were not welcome to take any sand. The information was passed along.
5:58 p.m.
A deer that had been hit by a car and was injured in the roadway was dispatched near the intersection of 1031st St. and Cty. Tk. M in River Falls.
9:50 p.m.
Deputies responded to the 100 block of Tower Rd. in Prescott to assist Prescott PD with a possible home invasion.
Five controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.
January 17 1:09 a.m.
Deputies were dispatched to Mckay Ave. in Spring Valley for an intoxicated male who fell off his bar stool and hit his head. EMS evaluated the male and recommended he be transported. The male eventually agreed. 8:26 a.m.
A driver was stopped and cited for speed near the intersection of 820th St. and Hwy. 65 in River Falls.
11:23 a.m.
Information was obtained that there were drugs at a residence on 860th St. in Ellsworth. The homeowner allowed a search of the area, and items of contraband were located.
1:42 p.m.
A complaint was received of juveniles trespassing on railroad property in Hager City near the intersection of 760th St. and Hwy. 35. After checking the area, nobody was found on the railroad tracks. 3:12 p.m.
A suspicious person was reported to be walking in a yard on Hwy. 35 in Hager City. The foot tracks in the snow showed the person appeared to have turned right around and left.
3:40 p.m.
Two snowmobiles riding on a trail southeast of the intersection of 860th St. and Hwy. 10 in Ellsworth were stopped. The property owner was one of the riders, so no violation occurred.
Three controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.
