A motor-vehicle accident with property damage was reported in Ellsworth near the intersection of Hwy. 10 and Hwy. 63.
5:38 a.m.
A car vs. road sign and ditch accident with no injury was reported in Spring Val – ley near the intersection of Cleveland St. and Hwy. 29.
5:41 a.m.
A vehicle that reportedly slid in the ditch was found with battery issues at a busi – ness near the intersection of 650th St. and Cty. Tk. N in Beldenville.
6:51 a.m.
A one-vehicle rollover ac – cident was reported in Spring Valley near the intersection of 890th Ave. and Hwy. 128. 8:18 a.m.
Deputies responded to an address on 640th Ave. in Ellsworth for to check the welfare after a report was received of a vehicle in a driveway with its ashers on. Contact was made with the homeowner, who advised that he did that on purpose to keep people away. 11:24 a.m.
Deputies responded to River Falls near the intersec – tion of 870th Ave. and Cty. Tk. F for a vehicle in the ditch. The vehicle was okay until the tow arrived later in the day.
11:34 a.m.
Deputies were requested to respond to an address on Cty. Tk. O in Hager City to keep the peace.
1:10 p.m.
Information was taken regarding a lost pitbull pup – py on Hwy. 63 in Ellsworth. The puppy was later returned home.
1:22 p.m.
A report was taken of corn that was believed to be in – tentionally dumped out of a corn wagon onto the ground on 860th Ave. in River Falls.
4:07 p.m.
Information was taken re –
garding found dogs on 490th St. in Spring Valley. The dogs were reunited with their owner. 5:52 p.m.
A deer vs. car accident was reported in River Falls near the intersection of 742nd Ave. and Cty. Tk. F. 5:57 p.m.
Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Cty. Tk. K and Hwy. 35 in Hager City. The complainant stated she hit a tire on the road and a truck who she believed the tire came from left the scene when she went out to assess the damage. 6:28 p.m.
Deputies were requested to check on a semi in the ditch near the intersection of 570th Ave. and Hwy. 10 in River Falls. Contact was made with the driver, who was trying to make a wide turn and slipped in the ditch. There was no damage and the driver had already made arrangements for a tow. The driver was as – sisted with emergency lights until the semi was removed. Eight controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when com plete.
December 29 12:10 a.m.
Deputies were dispatched to Hager City near the inter – section of Hwy. 63 and 825th St. S. to check the area for a possible intoxicated driver. The vehicle was located at a bar unoccupied. The bartend –
er and patrons were not help –
ful in locating the suspect. Everyone was encouraged to nd sober rides home. 9:49 a.m.
Contact was made with a complainant on 810th St. in River Falls for a fraud com –
plaint. The caller said some –
one called his credit card company and requested a card be sent to Houston, TX, and then used it twice in Tex – as for $14,495. 10:57 a.m.
A vehicle reported stolen out of St. Croix County was located in Prescott. 11:40 a.m.
A driver was stopped in Hager City near the intersec – tion of Hwy. 63 and 810th St. S. for the registered owner of the vehicle showing revoked status. The driver was cited for Operating Without a Li – cense.
11:52 a.m.
A vehicle was reported in the ditch near the intersection of Cty. Tk. F and Cty. Tk. FF in River Falls. 12:02 p.m.
A weather advisory was issued. 2:43 p.m.
The area of 1200th St. in Prescott was checked for a reported car in the ditch.
Upon arrival, it was discov –
ered the vehicle in question was a junk car that appeared to have been there for years. 3:50 p.m.
While following a vehicle prior to activating emergen –
cy lights, a truck was ob –
served failing to negotiate a turn and drove over the side – walk, almost hitting a parked car near the intersection of Chestnut St. and Main St. in Ellsworth. The driver did not have insurance and had nev – er registered the vehicle. The driver was mailed a citation for Failure to Maintain Con trol.
3:52 p.m.
An animal complaint was received from an address on Hwy. 29 in Prescott. 8:49 p.m.

Court Rd. in Plum City.

A caller in the 600 block of Main St. in Plum City wanted to report a vehicle as stolen but was informed the vehicle had been towed by the Village of Plum City. 8:23 a.m.
A deer was dispatched near Cty. Tk. O in River Falls after a deer vs. car accident was reported.
9:09 a.m.
A disabled semi was re – ported on 1200th St. near Hwy. 10 in Prescott. 9:41 a.m.
Deputies assisted with trafc control at the intersec – tion of Hwy. 10 and Cty. Tk. S in Plum City for a funeral escort. 10:25 a.m.
Car parts were removed from the roadway near the intersection of 800th St. and Hwy. 10 in Ellsworth. 10:46 a.m.
A report of a damaged lock was received at the Post Ofce in Bay City. It ap – peared someone attempted to force entry through the service door. It was reported that it happened a week prior 11:48 p.m.
While patrolling, a vehicle was observed with its emer –

way near the intersection of Cemetery Rd. and Hwy. 65 in River Falls. Contact was made with the driver, who was having mechanical is –
to the call.
11:08 a.m.
Deputies were dispatched to Hwy. 35 in Bay City for two storage units that had previously been broken into. 4:54 p.m.
Deputies responded to River Falls near the inter –
section of Cty. Tk. M and 1090th St. for a crash where an unknown vehicle left the roadway and struck a trafc sign. The Highway Depart – ment was notied about the need for signpost repair. 6:30 p.m.
A car vs. deer accident was reported on Hwy. 29 in River Falls. The deer was dispatched. 6:41 p.m.
Deputies responded to Spring Valley near the inter – section of Hwy. 63 and 850th Ave. for a car vs. deer acci dent.
9:45 p.m.
A vehicle was observed on the shoulder near the in – tersection of 210th Ave. and Hwy. 63 in Hager City. The vehicle owner was contacted and advised that a tow was requested. Five controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when com plete.
December 31 2:06 a.m.
An anonymous suspicious vehicle complaint was re – ceived near the intersection of 1200th St. and 570th Ave. in Prescott. The area was checked, and the vehicle was not located.
7:06 a.m.
One vehicle was found stopped in the middle of the roadway near the intersec – tion of Cty. TK. J and Hwy. 10 in Ellsworth. The driver was assessed and found to be having a medical related incident.
8:25 a.m.
Ellsworth PD was assist – ed with a missing person in the 100 block of W. Humble Ave. The person was located in the county.
2:28 p.m.
Suspicious activity was reported in River Falls on 650th Ave. 3:48 p.m. A grey and white cat was reported found on 570th Ave. in Prescott.
13 controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to ob – tain any required permits and to call back when complete.
January 1
12:50 a.m.
Deputies responded to Ellsworth near the intersec – tion of 410th Ave. and 490th St. for a possible accident. The vehicle was located and there was no damage to the vehicle. The juvenile driver was located and cited for un – derage drinking.
2:38 a.m.
An anonymous complaint reported drug activity at an address on Cty. Tk. VV in Hager City. 3:39 a.m.
Deputies responded to an address on 825th St. in Hag – er City to check the welfare of an intoxicated female who had fallen and hit her head. EMS arrived and scene and assessed prior to arrival. 6:39 a.m.
Suspicious kids were re – ported in the 400 block of Omaha Ave. in Elmwood but were not located. 3:48 p.m.
A suspect from a possible theft in Ellsworth was locat –
ed in the 100 block of N. Ma –
ple St. The driver was going to contact the gas station to pay for the items taken, as it was not intentional. The driver was cited for an open intoxicant in the vehicle. 9:47 p.m.
A vehicle was stopped for no plates in Bay City near the intersection of Hwy. 35 and 150th Ave. E. The driver stated that he recently pur –
chased the vehicle. The driv –
er's door was being held shut by a bungy strap. The driver was informed that he needed to park the vehicle and x the door before any further use would be legal.
