Initial appearances Jeremy D. Austin, 44, Des Moines, Iowa, pleaded not guilty and posted a $2,500 signature bond Feb. 13 on operate firearm while intoxicated and disorderly conduct (use dangerous weapon) charges. A status conference is scheduled for 11 a.m. March 23.

Aaron J. Cooke, 35, Hayward, Minn., posted a $25,000 signature bond on a felony second degree sex assault – intoxicated victim (lifetime supervision of serious sex offenders) charge Feb. 13. A preliminary hearing is set for 2 p.m. April 4.

A bench warrant was issued for the arrest of Robert S. Dreher, 55, Hastings, Minn., who missed a Feb. 13 initial appearance on a disorderly conduct charge.

Natalie Mae Holmberg,

25, Elmwood, posted a $10,000 signature bond on felony criminal damage to property (over $2,500), possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia charges Feb. 10. A status conference is scheduled for 3:45 p.m. March 1.

Jennifer L. Javner, 32, River Falls, was ordered to pay $500 cash bond on theft – movable property, disorderly conduct and three felony bail jumping charges Feb. 14. A preliminary hearing is slated for 1:30 p.m. Feb. 23.

Beau Allen Merriman, 24, River Falls, posted a $2,500 signature bond on felony bail jumping and possess drug paraphernalia charges Feb. 13. A preliminary hearing is set for 1:30 p.m. Feb. 22.

A bench warrant was issued for the arrest of Justin Irvin Mudrick, 40, River Falls, who missed a Feb. 13 initial appearance for felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC and two theft – movable property charges.

Martin Timothy Pahl, 69, Prescott, posted a $10,000 signature bond Feb. 8 on two felony possess firearm – convicted of out-of-state felony charges. A status conference is slated for 4:15 p.m. March 16.

A bench warrant was issued for the arrest of Mark F. Walz, 50, Ellsworth, who missed a Feb. 13 initial appearance on a resisting or obstructing an officer charge. The charge resulted from an incident in Ellsworth.

Closed cases Melissa Marie Crocker, 43, River Falls, was convicted of resisting or obstructing an officer Feb. 14, fined $443 and ordered to pay $75.88 (plus a 10% surcharge fee). The charge stemmed from an April 22, 2022 incident.

Jeremy Eugene Ealy, 39, Winona, Minn., was convicted of disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) and felony burglary – building or dwelling, sentenced to two years’ probation, fined $1,061 and ordered to pay $200 in restitution (plus a 10% surcharge fee) Feb. 9. Criminal damage to property, resisting or obstructing an officer, misdemeanor bail jumping, and three felony bail jumping charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents June 27, July 7 and Aug. 30, 2022.

OWI-third and operating with PAC-third charges against Brandon Dean Evans, 39, Red Wing, Minn., were dismissed Feb. 14. The charges stemmed from a July 30, 2022 incident.

Possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia charges against Dawn S. Fink, 48, River Falls, were dismissed Feb. 10. The charges resulted from a Sept. 15, 2022 incident.

A felony burglary – building or dwelling (as party to a crime) charge against Gene Edward Haring, 58, St. Paul, was dismissed Feb. 9. The charge stemmed from an Aug. 10, 2021 incident.

Chandler Marie Jochim,

30, Elmwood, was convicted of OWI-first and disorderly conduct and fined $1,089.30 Feb. 13. Her driver’s license was revoked for six months. An operating with PAC-passenger < 16 was dismissed. The charge resulted from an Oct. 20, 2022 incident.

Timothy Joseph O’Brien,

61, Prescott, was convicted of computer message – threaten/obscenity, sentenced to one year’s probation and fined $443 Feb. 14. The charge stemmed from an April 13, 2022 incident.

Bradley James Shaw, 51, Eau Claire, was convicted of disorderly conduct and fined $277.80 Feb. 14. The charge resulted from an Oct. 20, 2022 incident.

Feliciano Tzanahua Romero, 25, Ellsworth, was convicted of operate without valid license (second within three years) and fined $443 Feb. 9. The charge stemmed from a July 31, 2022 incident.
